Dentist - Dr Loubser

Don't go hereDentist is great, receptionist has zero business etiquette. Took my kids in September and received a final notification today via whatsapp. No phone call or email. Upon trying to figure out who this was for or what it was for by responding, she sent their practice number. Claim was rejected by medical aid, she made snarky comments about You know you went to the dentist

Dr. Loubscher is well mannered and excellent at what he does and the assistant was kind and also well experienced. The receptionist, Mrs Mardine, is lovely - very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

I don't write many reviews, because I think good service is naturally what to expect. However, I think it's safe to say that Dr Loubser's service is in a category that deserves a good review, from my side at least.

Best experience ever, crowns, bridge and root canal to perfection without any discomfort. My brother loves Rudi's work too, himself having had a lot of work done.. Highly recommended.

Admin is abysmal, from referrals to medical aid claims - and when you try to resolve issues the person responsible is on leave or left or some other excuse. Pity as Dr Loubser is all round a good dentist, only being somewhat impatient on one visit.

Rudy Loubser is the best dentist that I have had in the sixty years of my life. It has always been important to me that a dentist operates painlessly and Rudy is the best. Even during difficult extractions of teeth broken in the jaw itself - using space age syringes that look like my Colt .45 ACP! All the staff are friendly and efficient and always of great help in an emergency. Rudy have even helped me over weekends, taking my calls and supplying a script for medication. I highly regard him as an expert in dentistry (he is also a forensic dentist, but that will have to wait until I kick the bucket) and I highly recommend him, as I have in the past, with all being extremely satisfied with his services. He also does BOTOX tratments, but I am currently too fat, which means I don’t have any wrinkles neccesitating such a treatment.

I have really had great experience in your clinic. Dr Loubser is very experienced. Tooth extraction was very clean, pain free and with no pain killer medication.Everything is very professionally handled and treated friendly. Keep up the good work.

This dentist at first seemed really nice and then after the first consultation the trouble began.He kept on arranging more and more appointments even though I had expressed my concern about finances, since I was going overseas to teach for a year.Each time I visited I told him and made it very clearly known that something did not feel right with the treated teeth and that since he worked on my teeth they were really sensitive to any and all temperatures which was never the case before.He kept on saying it was fine and that it was normal.I kept complaining because it didn't feel right and it was like he got annoyed at me saying how my own mouth felt.Skipping ahead a little, I am overseas and the teeth that were worked on are giving major problems. One has a hole in the filling and the other, that I had stated while in the chair at his offices had made an awful crack sound when I bit down on the new filling, now has a huge crack at the back of the tooth and I might lose part of my tooth. Which is horrible for a girl!Then not only did he use every last cent in our medical savings, but I also received an extra bill. I made arrangements with him because of the uncertainty of my overseas accounts, but when my teeth kept causing me pain and giving me even more grief, I messaged him and told him that I would not pay seeing as the services he was meant to provide, namely fixing my teeth, were not properly done. On the contrary, he made them worse!Next thing I know I receive a message from his lawyers demanding the payment.This doctor is not a good dentist and I regret ever going to this man.

Was referred years ago by Wim. I have never seen another dentist since, as I have found the best service, the best prices as well as people that understand and allow for human needs. A simple phone call can prove this. My mom now needs dental care, and even there they have exceeded, not my expectation, but they have assisted better on the call than any other I have phoned. (Try this yourself, listen to how other calls always directs you to you HAVE to come see the doctor before any prices given. Yes this is necessary, but should I prepare for thousands or hundreds, and if so, what type of rough figure without accepting it as gospel).This speaks to their honesty and the fact that they understand human needs.My dental work has always been within budget, that just required me to be honest with Rudi, and he returned that honesty. He worked swiftly, thoroughly and understood my concerns, and also addressed them.When you have this type of service for years, why search for something else.I have found my home for dental care, and Rudi, you are home.

Absolutely amazing service from the moment you walk in. The receptionist, Dani, is a beautiful soul and very inviting. Dr Loubser has an exquisite bedside manner and I shall definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a reliable and trustworthy dentist!
