Hazelmere Dam and Nature Reserve
Beautiful setting. Very busy on the weekends with jetskis, which can get quite noisy. Entrance is R20 for adults, and they only accept debit/credit cards - no cash.

Amazing place to come and enjoy the dam and natural beauty all around. The toilets are clean and the picnic sights are wonderful and right by the dam.

Great dam! So much to do, nice and full and clean. Also the rules are regulated and adhered to. Only minor problem is that on the boat side of the dam the ablution blocks are now underwater because they heightened the wall, but there’s still other toilets.

Hazelmere Dam and Nature Reserve
Lovely serene nature reserve. Toilets usually clean. If u looking to relax n unwind, this is the spot. Only problem is the road leading to this place. No fault of the reserve at all. The roads are in a terrible state. Potholes galore. Drive carefully.

What a beautiful day - so tranquil and beautiful. The area was clean, there was plenty space for setting up the family picnic, toilets were clean (though a bit too far). It's a perfect spot for good quality family time. Didn't see any animals though. Bring your own canoe!
