Well equipped chalets with sea views. Try to get a thatched roof unit. Enjoyed the walks along the beach and the stunning sunsets.

Great location, sea views from terrace, but open plan, so although a 2 bedroom chalet, my brother's snoring could be heard all night!!

We stayed over in the caravan park and thought the facilities generally nice. Also very nice to stay in Hondeklipbay. We however found our stand(one of those with cement slab) very small considering the impact the cement slab has. People with tents and caravans cannot peg there tents down and have to stand next to the slab. It ended up being a setup where people are forced to walk over and through the neighbors camp to get around. Our caravan also struggled to fit on the stand and we did not even setup everything.Think if you do go with a caravan ask for the stands on the entrance.

Hondeklip Bay is a sad and impoverished place that time has forgotten. It is sad because the location is stunning, mile upon mile of awe inspiring coastline with an abundance of bird life to sit and watch. The resort is well cared for, clean showers, mains power and piped water.

Absolutely a pleasure to stay there. The place was spotless and everything you need was there. The bathroom was a pleasure to use as it was so neat. The staff was so friendly and helpful. On arrival we felt as if we were old friends of them. They offered to do our washing and ironing and we got everything back in our room same afternoon. They will definitely see us again. Thank you Emdi, Petro and Audrey.

We spent New Years weekend at Hondepondokkies. It is a wonderful resort and probably the best accommodation in Hondeklipbaai. The units are spotless, well equipped, well put together and comfortable. The price was really good considering we travelled over Peak season. I will happily recommend this resort for a relaxing breakaway or holiday.
