Food and service was great. Only complaint is some of the steaks had a lot of gristle and fat. Otherwise fantastic.

Wonderful staff who made our day with their banter. Unfortunately my drink was forgotten entirely but I guess that is down to Spur's strange policy of not writing things down? The natchos were excellent but some other food around the table was only good. Still a great visit.

Service was not bad, but took a long time to get. had a half chicken, but it was dry and overcooked, the dog did not even want it.Date I was there was Thursday, 11 May 2023, between. 14:30 and 15:30, was there for business, don't think I will eat there again

Mountain Ridge Spur Steak Ranch
We popped in for brunch on route to Plettenberg Bay. My husband had stopped here recently with his motorbike friends on a weekend breakfast run and was very impressed with the breakfast they had ordered. For this reason, we decided to try it for brunch. Unfortunately we were very disappointed ! The chips were not fresh and had clearly been refried . My burger was OK but not great. My husband’s steak was awful. He said it tasted like soap and had also been simply reheated as he had asked for a medium rare steak but it was tough, overdone and still cold in the middle.The condiments were not wiped clean and the the holder for the condiments was filthy. Unfortunately we will not be returning for another meal here

Order had to be placed twice ax waitress forgot to hand it in. Spur loyalty points were lost although done manually but even after contacting Spur head office and multiple supporting emails to them no correction or feedback. Useless Customer Support

Steak special looked great on tv advert but worst steak that I've ever had at the Spur. More sinew than there was meat. Sent it back. No apology from management. Hasn't done the Spurs reputation any good. Very disappointed.
