Imperial Gardens Restaurant
We had a delicious mutton Bunny Chow and a nice sampler plate of samosas. A real feast for an extremely fair price. The carrot sambal complimented the Bunny chow perfectly with a nice Chile pop from the fiery red chilies. We weren't able to get to Durban, but we feel like this was like visiting a little piece of Durban right in Cape Town! Very welcoming service too!

Great food and just the loveliest owners. Stopped in for the Year of the Rabbit while staying in Muizenberg. Had a great vegetarian meal. They even charged my phone for me and at the end they also called me a cab. Enjoyed talking to them about South Africa. Would go again.

Beautiful homely restart with excellent service and attention to detail. We arrived during loadshedding and they had a back up invertor. The meal was divine and a definite taste of Durban in a quiet part of Cape Town ❤️ I'll definitely be back again and again whenever I am in Fish Hoek. Highly recommended ❤️

Last night in South Africa & came out of the Imperial Gardens restaurant feeling very happy & extremely full up. We both loved our (first) experience of a Durban curry & also how friendly the owners were. If it were possible, we would be eating here every week!

What an amazing dinner we had tonight. Thank you for your hospitality and fabulous authentic curries! The portions were large and our tummies are full with leftovers for tomorrow. The lamb bunny chow is an absolute must! Thank you Vash for making us feel at home xxx

Imperial Gardens Restaurant
Unassuming restraunt nestled across the beach, you will find an authentic Durban prawn curry made with original spices. I liked the fact that it was not loaded with oil. the prawns were not overcooked and was delicious. I definitely want to try the bunny chow and other scrumptious items on the menu.
