Montagu Caravan Park

We stayed there for more than a month. Somedays things were good and somedays not. Unisex bathrooms does not work for me as an ablution for a full camp. Hot pool near us was always dirty. Little shop open hours was not sufficient. No speed control on roads in park.Very safe, the cleaning staff always friendly and helpful. They had a nice program for the week before Christmas. We enjoyed the night walk and the day spend at Silwerstrand.

I have been doing an enquiry to this place since last year. Marda always confirms availability and tell you to confirm via email. Only then to respond 5 days later that she have no availability via email but I phone her everyday to follow up on the email response. She speaks with an attitude when you do follow up and rubs off the confirmation she done telephonically. Not happy with the service at all

The Caravan Park is well situated from all restaurants and places of interest. The park is clean at all times. Staff maintaining park daily. The ablution are spotlessly clean. The hot water pool very nice. Water taps and elec on sites. The park is full of shaded tress. Would definitely recommend for a short or long stay.

the venue is clean and safe, but the staff is absolutely rude and disrespectful towards the campers. they treat you as children/criminals and you never feel respected when approached. they are not at all disability friendly and by an employee. overall comunication is limited. and once again not disability friendly. i would go so far to say they discriminate against persons with disability by not providing suffice communication methods. the staff is extremely rude and inpolite when talking to the visitors. it is a family oriontated facility, but yet there is gees that attach little children and not all of the facilities is family friendly. so if you go alone with your kids, you cannot take them everywhere as they are not permitted. there is also no caretaking facilities at these spaces where children is not allowed, yet they advertise these facilities on their website.

Nice caravan park, clean bathrooms with stocked toilet paper 3 swimming pools (one adults only pool) and large dam for fishing. (Not clean enough to swim)Close to all the shops and town. Owner really runs the place smoothly, Making me want to go back again anytime

Peaceful place . However our experience was not as pleasant. No music allowed. No handwash in the bathrooms. The tap water is not drinkable and usable as clean water . Pools close at 8 , the time you want to cool down. Pools are filled with children entire day long . Customer service is not as welcoming as I'd like it to be .

Lovely little resort. Clean and tidy. Lovely dam for Fishing and can hire paddle boats. Hot pool nice size and cold pool which is a bit small but you can cool off. Luxury cabin has everything you need. Staff was welcoming. Overall had a great peaceful time.

Campsite very need and clean..reception people needs some people skills ..you need a looong extention at some camp sites plug points are far. Swimming pool at main gate not cleaned and even after reporing it nothing got done. Could not use it for two days..other than that well kept

Beautiful, peaceful and very neat park. Walking distance to central town.

Fantastic spot in the mountains, in the beautiful town of Montagu. From wine tasting to hiking trails and small town cafes with amazing coffee and breakfast, this is a great place for a getaway and family vacation.
