Food is good and staff try their best. They do get a few things mixed up, don't clarify if you want milk in your coffee or not etc. Minor things considering a positive attitude.

A pleasant staff who always very helpful. Somewhat overpriced. But this is franchise issue. Unfortunately as the actual store is located beyond the barrier of the Virgin Active one can 'see but not partake'. I assume the gym is attempting to create an air of exclusivity or boost membership by creating feel of the public as lesser mortals".As a result one is always forced to wait with the demeanor of a beggar or poor relative while the staff take ones order and then returns with it and hands it "over the fence'."

I don’t like the fact at both Cascades and Victoria, Kauai is almost off limits to those without Virgin Active gym memberships. There’s one table on the other side of the barrier where patrons have to wait for a waiter to come and attend to them. Their menu is way too far away to read and despite that, no printed menus are given. This wouldn’t be an issue if there was a Kauai elsewhere in PMB that wasn’t part of a gym. Anyway their Mango Lassi for R54 was awful lacking any mango flavour and was more like a ginger smoothie.

Let me first say I love KAUAI Food. Have eaten at other restaurants like Sandton City. The new outlet that is located in Checkers Cascades is a big disappointment. My wife and I was excited to see the shop - and the staff was very friendly and helpful. But the No Bull Burger was awful. The patty was like a cold hockey puck and I could not cut it. The bun , topping and sauce was just yech. The R80+ salad was just a jumble of stuff - very un-inspiring. the thing is the ingredients if correctly prepared could have been awesome. Maybe you could look at the quality. We will not be buying there again.
