I spent my early twenties in the sun as much as possible! We did not grown up with sunscreen, needless to say, now 25 year later, my skin was covered in sunspot ....and then I met Penny at Lasermed Tygervalley. I turn 52 in a few days, my skin is now near flawless... Penny's expert knowledge and expertise, remodeled" my complexion

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! BURNED SKIN = PERMANENT HYPERPIGMENTATION!!Alta van der Merwe at Lasermed burned my skin to bits in 3 seperate laser appointments. I spent almost R40 000 with them for hair removal and all I am left with is permanent hyperpigmentation on my legs, full bikini and (luckily) none underneath my arms. I was red, full of scabs and blisters and in pain. She told me it was a 'normal' skin reaction when I asked if my skin was suppose to look like this. I had to pay dermatologist costs, costs for hydraquinone treatment creams (which has had no effect) and pay for the laser with no effect as she targeted the wrong chromophore hitting my skin in stead of the hair. They didn't give back my money. They didn't cover the costs of the Dermatologist or the hydroquinone as they said they would. I still have ALL the hair on all the areas I payed to have removed. All I got was burned skin, permanent hyperpigmentation and being charged to PAY for hair removal after they promised to remove the hair on their expense, fix the hyperpigmentation on their expense and cover the Dermatologist costs as well as hydroquinone costs. I would NOT rocommend anyone to go there. Penny the manager was very sweet - but didn't keep her word as to covering the costs. I am disgusted at this laser clinic. The experience there was horrible.

I'm currently on session 7 of my tattoo removal journey with Alta. Its slow going with 15 weeks in-between sessions, but the nice environment, steady progress and Alta's positive demeanour make it as pleasant as can be.

I don't think there's a problem Penny can't solve! I've been to several dermatologists about thick green veins near my cheekbone and none of them could help. A few sessions with Penny and they're almost completely gone! She's not only skilled but also caring and attentive. :) I highly recommend seeing her for any issue!

I've been having treatments with Penny from Lasermed Tygervalley over the past 10 years, mainly for broken capillaries & redness on my face, neck and chest. Penny has been absolutely amazing! She is highly skilled and knowledgeable, professional, kind and caring. My skin texture and colour is looking better than it did ten years ago and I am very happy with the results and with the high level of service I have received over the years. Lasermed and Penny have changed my skin by 10 years with laser treatments . I am so confident in Penny that this year I have taken the plunge and am going to continue adding new treatments such as Dermapen .It is fabulous to be able to do anti aging treatments which do not involve surgery .

Compliments to a wonderful experience. In particular, Alta van der Merwe who is so professional, friendly and kind. She did my laser hair removal and IPL treatments. She took the time to discuss the treatments in full and with great patience, answered all my questions. The treatments went exactly as she explained and the results are even better than I expected! An extra bonus was the care she took in applying the ointments afterwards - almost like a mini facial massage.

Going to Lasermed has changed my entire life. In the past 10 years that I am being treated by Penny, my skin has improved so dramatically that people think my age at least 15 years younger. My skin has become smooth and flawless - thanks to professional treatments!!!!!
