Such a breathtaking place to have a wedding-It's a privately- & secured place, welcoming and friendly staff, beautiful chapel and the reception was amazing.. The list of all the things of what a wedding should be... Definitely worthwhile having a wedding at Benedetto......And we were just guests at the wedding...the bride and groom I know was extremely pleased with the outcome, and we as guest had such a wonderful night.

Benedetto On Vaal. Must be rated one of the most beautiful places in South Africa. There are beautiful willow trees everywhere. The perfect place to take mesmerising photos. The small detail in the green garden must be viewed and appreciated. The church are decorated with plants and have a old romantic style. This is a unforgettable venue.

We had our wedding here and let me tell you best choice of my life. They took care of everything and made our day as special as possible. Everything you need for your day is provided. Staff is very friendly and the place is absolutely beautiful.

Everything is at one place and limits expenses of traveling for photo shoot and reception. The wedding it thwreand convenient for a family gathering

Served cold samosas as a starter. Their deco not the best. The ambience is beautiful on the Vaal with a beautiful wedding chapel and well maintained gardens.

What a beautiful venue, but I would not recommend anyone to get married at this venue. The owner/manager is rude and unprofessional. She made the bride upset because of her attitude . She was behaving like she was doing us a favour for using the venue. A few minutes before the wedding ceremony ; one of her staff members told us to move our things out of the bridal dressing room and right before the reception she told us to take our things out the bridal room ,how were we supposed to do all of this when the bride and bridal party were supposed to take part in the ceremony. None of this made sense to me because we were the only guests having a wedding at the venue (I confirmed with the staff members) and where was the wedding party supposed to put their things.Also, a male driving the golf carts who was assisting us told us it was ok to leave our belongs in the bridal dressing room.A bride is supposed to feel as little stress as possible and be treated well on their big day.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VENUE!!!!!Response to below response. I even had to speak to your host on the day and let her know she is rude. It amazes me how you do not acknowledge all the other bad reviews also complaining about the host. My truth remains, you were hostile and not a great host in my opinion. It does not take away from the venue, but it does take away from my experience on the day.

Benedetto On Vaal is a great place to have your wedding at. It's beautiful and amazing. The people there are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel special. I'll recommend this place to everyone.

Brown away by the amazing and well prepared staff. Food was lovely

The venue is beautiful and the food was exceptional. However, the photographer/ DJ provided by the venue was rude with a condescending attitude. The brides pair pays a lot of money for their guests to attend the wedding, only to be treated by the photographer/ DJ as school children. I understand the need for rules, but there are more professional ways to get a message across when dealing with guests who are all grownups.
