Global Village gift shop absolutely amazing, friendly, great products, lovely staff... 5 stars for our experience here.The restaurant however is absolutely a nightmare and dont deserve a single star... Bad management. Waited an hour for our food with only 2 other people there, the Manager falsely accused the waiter for the mistake the kitchen made, double charged us for goods already paid. Just bad bad bad experience with this restaurant and dont recommended this restaurant.

It is a very pretty place with a large shop selling a variety of goods ranging g from clothes to arty knickknacks. Although there were interesting things, I found them a bit expensive, catering for the passing tourist trade. We did not eat at the restaurant.

Global Village is a pretty and tranquil space!The appeal probably comes from the entrepreneurs offering up their goods at a fraction of the commercial costs.My highlight was seeing local artist Marlien Visagie exhibiting her original art pieces alongside other artists.The exhibitions adds to the space in a very calming and bright way, highlighting the beauty of the actual area.Global Village would do a lot better with some maintenance and a few tweaks to upgrade the gardens and the coffee shop.Overall a pleasant experience and a Plettenberg must see.

A true country setting in Plettenberg bay on a large plot, providing a lovey nature and fairytale experience. The gift shop is a must visit, with quality handcrafted and unique gifts of all sorts.

A delightful little hidden gem in Plett. Feast your eyes and browse in the shop stocking a large selection of crafts ranging from pottery, clothes, jewellery, incense, candles and more. Round off your visit to the Global Village by treating yourself to some delicious coffee and a generous portion of carrot cake. Fantastic quality and good service. Don't pass through Plett without making a stop here!

A nice place for kids and Adults alike. Good place for families to sit, eat, and relax. There is a very good and large store for authentic African hand-made crafts, gifts, and decoration, A nice childern playground. Unfortunately, the resturant was closed when I visited this place on Tuesday (I was told the resturant is open daily, except Tuesdays).
