Zainub and team, thanks for the efficiency, professionalism, decadent desserts that was well packed for transport to our event held on the 13th May. The guests complimented the desserts. Our first experience and will definitely use their services again. Admin team also very efficient with communication and follow up. Thanks all

Excellent friendly service from Zinhle. She is very helpful. I have ordered twice for my company for work events. I ordered from the platter menu for delivery. All the platters we ordered were absolutely divine. Our staff had nothing but compliments for the food. These platters are gourmet and the one thing I will say is if it says it feeds 6-8 people it will likely only feed 6 rather than 8. But it is so worth it. I will definitely be using them again. A note on delivery, they were on time and I never had to wait or call to make sure everything was on track. Hand off was exemplary and instructions were followed to a T. Brilliant! I highly recommend them!!! :)

I ordered a croquembouche and 8 dozens of various little desserts for a party. The desserts were beautifully constructed with precision, were exactly like the reference pictures, tasted as amazing as I hoped and imagined. The desserts elevated my party to a taste experience my guests couldn't get enough of. I ordered on their WhatsApp line which was attended to very quickly. They responded quickly throughout the ordering process and I got my invoice minutes after I gave my large order. Everything was prepared on time as promised.. Really professional. From start to finish, using Chilli Choc Chefs was the most pleasant, stress-free, enjoyable experience in the party preparations for my function.

Wow! Last night was a shocking experience. So I had to find a halaal caterer for one of my long-standing clients to cater an event last night for 50 guests. I called up Chili Chocolate Chefs as I had been referred to their services by a friend.I called them up they agreed to do my event based off a menu I created and a price was negotiated which we agreed upon. I empathized with their dietary requirements for six vegetarians (which i assumed based off my menu as a caterer they would just remove the meat from the existing menu). All good, they said...Delivery was set for 2.30 pm yesterday, which was done by one of the owners, Fatima. She promptly arrived to deliver my order . I could tell by the quantity of platters that the food wasn't sufficient, so she left. I could see the concern on my clients face, so I decided to count each food item, and to my surprise, there were only x 40 of each item. I called and got through to Zaynub (the other owner). I explained my issue with my order that no separate vegetarian menu was accommodated (which I empathized with them about earlier in the week) and that they had only catered for x 40 as opposed to x 50 guests that I paid for.Her response was that didn't someone from their office explain that's how they cater, and I, as a fellow caterer, should know this: that they always cater less because the food never gets finished. I told her that there wasn't even enough food for the 50 guests, and is she hoping that 10 of my clients guests would not eat at all? (I told her no I literally always make x 1.5 items per client better to over cater than under cater).I was charged for 12 platters, and there were only 7.When I got to their shop, both owners, who were exceptionally rude and arrogant, would not accept to even give an apology and told me I was wrong for not explaining the vegetarian requirements and that there was a miscommunication on my side, even though it was reflected on my invoice and on my chats. After a lengthy heated debate, they could see I would not back down, and I was told to come back at 4.30 p.m.They would give me x 2 platters and that's the best they could do for me and wanted me out ( as if they where doing me a favor) !I sent a WhatsApp message to Zaynub when I got back to my office saying I would deal with this further, and then I got a really superficial apology blaming it on the other chefs.Strange because in person they where disgustingly unprofessional and rude.Fast forward 2 hours later, at 4.30, I got an additional 2 random platters with 6 samoosas, a few falafel peebles, and 6 spring rolls . There's me hand delivering x 2 random platters, walking through an already started event. .All I can say is thank God for understanding clients !

I ordered some platters for my daughter's birthday. Everyone simply enjoyed it. Unique tastes and unique eats. Simply delicious... thank you

The owner herself, zaynub, was at the the store a few weeks ago. I walked in ,she did not have the courtesy of greeting me, she looked at me in an annoyed manner and rudely told me that no food was ready. I looked at her in shock, and told her I was in for 2 recipe books.She was taken aback for a minute, and proceeded to give me the books.Greet the customer is step number one it seems she only talks properly to people she knows.Others are not worthy of her greeting or customer care.To date I have purchased 7 books, 4 older ones and 3 of the latest.But I'm not in her clique so not worthy of a greeting.
