Akasia Licencing Department.

Waited an hour and a half only for collection. Then loadshedding. Even though they dont need electricity when you do a collection. And was told to come back later or wait 2 more hours

We had quite an experience at the Licencing Department. The service was swift, we had a wonder lady who assisted us and she was suggestive too.She empowered us in an unimaginable way. She made me change my view of government run departments. She is a high quality standard officer.100%⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was dreading my trip here that I kept postponing it but I finally went and it wasn’t bad as I thought it would be. The queue was very long but at least it was moving. Like any other traffic department, don’t ask just anyone (beware of the runners) anything, rather get inside and ask because you might be conned. And don’t forget certified ID copy because you will be turned back. If you don’t have cash don’t worry because the place is cashless, they accept debit and credit cards.

What started off as great service by collections, applications turned into a nightmare by cashier 9. (2023/06/20)After an hour and a half my son has to start all over in the que because this women did not put the correct que number in the system. After I asked her if he now goes to the back of the line she answered I only talk to the client".The amount of staff on personal phone calls and laughing is also quite shocking."

Sadly I cannot award no stars…My daughter’s learner license; booked online, drove to centre to pay appointment. 1st try - Arrived well in advance, load shedding started, all delegates were asked to leave as they will call us to re-book… within 15min the centre was emptied out. 2nd try - after driving back to the centre to explain that she is in Grade 12 and taking her out of class is not an option, she was re-booked the following week. On arrival we were informed that the centre system is offline, we have to now wait and see if there are available slots next week. NO preventative or override options available, no power or system offline, “maybe next week” is the best solution.

No electricity, drove for 2hrs, only to insulted by this lady (dark skinned with dreadlocks) slouching on that chair, telling me that she works here, interrupting a conversation I was having with the security lady asking more information about a way forward since the place is closed... I ranked this place the highest because of the good service I got yesterday. But This behaviour displayed today its just the same as the rest

Went for my vehicle license renew today. Fast and super service provided.Took less then 30minutes in and out of lines. More tellers has contributed to this. Keep it up. Went for my driver licence card renewal. Only problem is slow system due to loadshedding issues. Strongly recommend to upgrade IT systems.

If it wasn't for load shedding I would have been done by now but so far the service is good and fast
