Shoprite Ziyabuya

There are only 2 or 3 cashiers available to serve and assist people which leads to long ques every single day.The management take their time to come to the tills when the cashiers need assistance.

If you want to meet your basic needs its quite convinient. As far as the working stuff is concerned they are spread thinly and its quite evident. Most till points are closed even if theres alot of traffic in the store (crowded).As a result of that it might seem as though they are giving patrons attitude, however I'm not making excuses for them and their ignorance of the axiom policy. most occasions the shop is always busy cause it accommodates alot of areas such as Dwesi, Joe Slovo, Kwa-Magxaki etc but the standard in which they operate is not up to par which is a shame. The unfortunate part if one voices this out to relevant supervisors one is met with condescending responses. one was bold enough to say that Management doesn't want to employ and alot of the employees are still on contract after being there for years.

It was so great as always to shop at Ziyabuya, shops staff are friendly and smiling when saving consumers. N.E SOXUJWA

Just been insulated by operater C0031 at till number 2 today at 15:49:00 infront of a controller for crying out load this store has nk customer service at all I feel so dehumanized by this cashier i dont even wish to come back honestly

Worse sevices always here Ziyabuya Shoprite, express cashier is only 1 n ques are so long. Month end is always mess up this shop, supersvisors thier suppose to open floats to b cashiers as well not lottering around.

Always a shortage of cashiers. They service sassa people at the same tills we have to queue at for an hour for 3 items. I try to avoid this place as much as I can. Then they keep forcing the Xtra Savings card thing on you

A complete nightmare visiting this shopping centre. The local municipality has allowed the proliferation of informal vendors without proper planning and assistance even though there are vendors with permission from NMB Economic Development Department. The entrance to the shopping centre is barely 10metres from the only entrance/exit point to KwaDwesi onto the R75 which is a Major Regional Route. The traffic generated is completely disheartening.

Service is poor. Always out of stocks... Even of Coca Cola, imagine!!! Not enough till points are ever open to facilitate traffic of patrons. Staff is rowdy, have an attitude and are condescending as if you are there to beg as opposed to making sure you have a swift and pleasant shopping experience. Just the general upkeep/cleanliness of the place and staff isn't appealing let alone up to a minimal acceptable standard.

I'm having a problem in that store. Firtst, is the queues that are long with only few till that are functioning. Two, No social distancing is observed. 3.) The service isn't good and their staff is not willing to assist all the time. Staff do not take ownership of their store. The suprvisors are not always available when cashiers want to scan markdowns , that makes the service slow. The manager is not receptive to costomers. There is a guy called Mr Qeqe, he is always willing to go too far in helping the customer, but i don't see him so often now. He is very strong mentally and can make a good manager.
