Great place to relax with a drink or bite to eat Had brunch here, was delicious! Friendly staff, relaxed vibe. We arrived early while not too busy but near lunchtime filled up quickly. Check out their wine and gin shop next door for something special.

Great bar vibe , located in the Ballito Lifestyle Center, we asked them for a variety of cocktails that were not on their menu...it was done...no issues.

Unexpectedly great quality food. It's a great spot at Lifestyle Center if you prefer something a bit quieter. Which helps if you don't want to shout to hear each other during conversations. It has a nice open feel. Though the layout makes this not the best for large groups. The bar/cafe takes up a large part of the inside of the space which makes you think it might not cater well in terms of food, but they must have a decent kitchen size in the back because the food options are curated and high standard. I come here often either with my colleagues or my family. Service always friendly and attentive. Probably not the best spot on a rainy day though as the inside is a bit small. They also have good craft beer on tap with a thoughtful selection of interesting cocktails and wines.

The waiter was in a sour mood hey, but she still did her job. The location is very very nice, the food was okay. Nothing much to say about this place, I wouldn’t go back.

Great place and great vibe, Chef Rev is always around to make sure you are having the best possible experience. The coffee, food and gins are out of this world.

The food was great, especially the Oxtail Bitterballen. Friendly, personalised service with great suggestions - The Fall of the Monarchy and CooRumba? (The banana froth and nutmeg one) were the best cocktails we’ve had in some time. Excellent value for money.

Beautiful set up and they have an all day brunch menu. Presentation is extremely creative. Great service and very friendly from the staff. Most importantly refreshing drinks and delicious food.

An aesthetically pleasing brunch spot with great service and divine food. Their menu is diverse with flavourful dishes. The service is outstanding and you feel welcome and catered for from the time you walk through the door. I absolutely recommend Alchemy if you find yourself in the Balito area and you're looking for fresh, quality food and a chill vibe.
