Riverwalk checkers is quite decent with moving lines even on busy days. The staff is pleasant and the variety of products is good. I guess they leave some things out due to space or to allow other shops in the area to have a chance. They really do close at 8 with staff still quite helpful and pleasant during the final hour. They do however run out of things and don't stock up till the next day so best you go before 7.

This branch is pathetic in terms of Quality control. Almost 90% of the times I have mistakenly forgotten about their standards, when I buy meat from this place its always off and rotting. It's so infuriating buying a fillet for R500.00 to then get home and open it to see a part has turned green and slimy, and reeks of rotten flesh. Another time I bought salami at this place. Have you ever seen beef salami slices with shades of white, green, and yellow all on one slice. The package also states packed on" the day before I bought it. So either its a lie

Really had a lovely shopping experience. We're so comfortable always criticizing. I had such a beautiful experience with Siyabonga, an employee who couldn't do enough for me. His service changed my whole day - I felt so positive afterwards. Such a helpful, kind and caring man. If we could find this service everywhere, shopping would have been a great, positive experience. Thank you Siyabonga.
