Festival Mall Ice Rink

Great ice rink! Big and spacious! The ice was good, not too many people on a Tuesday night. Half price Wednesday night. Paid parking (about R10 for 2 hours?) - lots of available parking.

I just had an amazing session. Cannel khanye was very sweet and kind to me.I definitely recommend the place.

Normally I'm not one to name and shame but this was our first trip here and we arrived at 6pm paid our R130pp for 4 of us totalling to R520. At 7pm the ice cleaner went on and we were told to leave the ice, we decided to sit and wait as we had just gotten on the ice 30min prior once we were all geared up to do so, when I went to the kiosk to buy refreshments I was told we need to hand in our skates or pay for another session, i was shocked and asked the attendee how could they only let us skate for 30 min and we have just paid so much, I was told she did say 1 hour left to me when I paid, which was a total lie she never mentioned anything to me,however I was not happy and she told me to speak to the manager Paul who was rude, very confrontational, and utterly bombastic, he argued that the attendee did say this to me when he was on the phone which was a lie, we were then told to hurry up and skate our hour and leave. I am so disappointed and disgusted in the management of this family place that I will never recommend it nor ever return. Do not support such badly run businesses rather spend your hard earned money elsewhere. What a waste of time and money.

Went for the Wednesday special, it wasn't too busy and it was such a fun experience. Is a wonderful place to have a date, birthday party or just for fun. The prices are reasonable and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
