generally reliable and efficient but my latest experience was severely lacking in customer service. Saroj is abrupt, unprofessional and rude. Cuts you off, doesnt let you speak, dismisses you and just outright ignores your mails. Ive had to call and call again in order to follow up and query deposit refunds - zero communication. Always has the excuse of things being busy? Of course the business will be busy - you offer a hiring service! I didnt have a massive order this time round but even so, it was a painfully annoying experience.

If I could give them a zero star I would to call me the morning before my wedding and cancel my glasses the focal point of my decor is disgusting and to show absolutely no remorse i am appalled. I wish to never deal with this backyard company again.

This is what i had experience I hired three different occasions tents, tables, and chairs everything from dag one to delivery and the picking up of the stuff 100%. This is my experienc and I will keep on doing business with them.

December 20th placed order for Black Tiffany chairs was not informed telephonically that it would be steel wrought iron chairs, sent my brother inlaw to collect on the 23rd who was not aware that it wasn't suppose to be steel. I called on 24th and spoke to Fatima, cutting a long story short, this woman has no way of speaking and is down right Rude. Mukhtar Hiring needs customer friendly staff dealing with their customers, bottom line. Products knowledge a key factor when doing telephonic orders also knowing your deposit structure important so customer doesn't get told R200 then R500 later.

This is the worst experienced we have had in a hiring company. They were unprofessional, we had to call over and over only to be given the run around. Delivery times were incorrect and on the day we had to wait and beg for delivery. They take no responsibility and just say they are stuck with deliveries. Soraj is very unprofessional and just blames the customer. I've never ever dealt with this kind of customer service.

I called in an placed an order 3 weeks ago. The consultant who assisted me promised to email the quote. I followed up the next day as I had not received the quote and was told they would get to me. Followed up again a week later only to be told they cannot assist me with delivery as they are fully booked. I was appalled at how disrespectful I was spoken too as well as the lack of customer service.Iwould not recommend them. Used Copy Cat Events instead, my order quoted and confirmed within the hour. MUKHTAR IS PATHETIC.

Quick to send an invoice that costs an arm and a leg but when they need to refund you, they're MISSING IN ACTION. Terrible after sales service, pathetic communication (basically they ignore you) unorganized and unprofessional, rude arrogant staff. When they actually do respond (days after the event) their tone in the email basically points out that the customer is the problem however, you're the one fitting the biggest bill without a proper breakdown on the invoice explaining exactly what you're paying for especially under transportation. Some parts of the tent was dirty and looked disgusting. I wouldn't recommend their services. Utterly disappointed and would never use them for an event. Unfriendly staff assisting over the telephone in the tenting department. 0 stars from an unsatisfied, unhappy and disappointed customer. Never again.

Hired three tents, only used/ setup two and sent one back.Its been 4 days and I am still waiting for my refund.Pathetic after service, have to call daily to remind them about it and they keep forgetting who I am.EXTREMELY unorganized.
