The Outpost Dullstroom
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Outpost - thank you to the team for being so welcoming and attentive to our needs! The Fisherman's Cottage is basic but very cosy and secluded, perfect for a family getaway. We had fun trying out the horse riding on offer and trout fishing in the farm across the road. We appreciated the electric blankets and fire place in the cold winter chill. The cottage itself is also well equipped with anything one may need. The gravel road to the farm is best handled by a 4x4, however is doable with a small vehicle. We will be back!

We would like to thank Elzet and team for a breathtaking wedding!!! This venue is the definition of Perfection for any special occasion! The staff is friendly, helpful and the accommodation exceptionally beautiful. We had the time of our lives and a beautiful wedding we will never forget. Thank you The Outpost Dullstroom!

The natural sites were beautiful, the horse trail ride was amazing and the people were friendly and kind. Overall the stay was wonderful. Would definitely like to visit again.

Thanks for a lovely weekend! Friendly hosts and great service. Rooms were clean and the location was perfect. We will definitely visit Outpost again :)

We had an lovely family weekend at the Outpost! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Maple House, Cedar Cottage and Willow house. Everything was very neat and clean. The farm is very beautiful and the perfect place if you want some peace and quiet.

The Fisherman's cabin is very neat and cosy. Nice place if you're not going for the fishing. Unfortunately, there's no fishing allowed in the dam which is 30m from the front door. A very natural and relaxed spot, though. Plenty wildlife and birds!

Quiet, secluded, and spacious farm house with a modern kitchen. Rooms are spacious and clean, with 1 of the rooms having an en suite bathroom. There's also a communal shower/toilet. Wifi and Playstation provided (although if you're looking to disconnect, you wouldn't need these). Friendly and helpful staff.Would definitely recommend a visit.

Was a little bit disappointent. The feathers chalet was clean but as this is a working farm, the workers are neighbours and they talked loudly. It just spoiled the atmosphere.The gravel road towards the Outpost is a mess but still can be driven by normal sedan, as long as you are very careful and taking it slow.You can walk around but remember they do have wild animals on their property.If you book the fisherman's cabin you wil have the true alone feeling.

Awesome Hosts with the perfect balance between professional and social.My daughters enjoyed the horses.We loved the farm!
