B & B Athenian Villa

Nice place for a getaway. Friendly staff and breakfast is was exceptional. Nice views from the balcony. The rooms are very clean and gives you that feeling of being on holiday in Greece.

Room and bed was clean and decent. Breakfast was a nightmare. TV was non existent. Back to tuning for channels. Really dissapointed and couldn't check out soon enough. So sorry for this honest review. Its ok for just sleeping.

Beautiful and quiet close to shops great service and affordable

Old 8 room villa in middle of town, with safe parking. Not noisy. Done up in Mediterranean style. Good service, neat and clean. Reasonable rates. Working here in Caledon for 3 weeks, and totally happy.4 stars for overall package

A centrally located self catering guest house in the heart of Caledon. It is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and more. The guest house is set on two levels, with the en suite rooms upstairs. The accommodation is quaint and very clean and comfy. Our host, Sean was great and very accommodating. There is secure indoor parking. It is not wheelchair friendly.

The place is not too bad but definitely on that side for me, everything(rooms, toilet, passage, yard, pool extremely etc.) is very small in comparison to the pics you'd see online, no washing line to hang anything, couldn't even get an iron for my clothes. We requested breakfast 06:30 because we had to head out early, we were told earliest they can do is 07:00 but the first morning we left at 07:20 having not had proper breakfast because it was done, it happened on our second morning as well after we had complained about the previous morning. I would not recommend the place, unfortunately.

I'm sorry this was the worst Accommodation B&B i have ever been to.The rooms and toilets were filthy, it wasn't cleaned properly.It was hot and uncomfortable. No airconThe beds were uncomfortable.The fixtures were falling off. No maintenance to the rooms.I was tired after a long drive and all i wanted to do was rest but the Accommodation manager had no regard on how i felt or what i wanted and continuously spoke to us about irrelevant things we didn't need to know. I felt this was unprofessional.I will never come back to this establishment again and i would not recommend it to anyone. There are better quality and cheaper establishments in Caledon.Everything was below standard and is deserving of 1 star.

Room are small and compact. Toilet and separate shower cubicle. Both need updating. Room and bed very comfortable. Very old building 100 + years.Manager extremely friendly and helpful.

There was a dream. A dream to create a Greek Island themed accommodation in central Caledon. With hard work, a rough style Santorini-like finish was giving to the old building to add to the atmosphere. A quaint outside area was formed for relaxing summer days. Sadly, it all adds up to be odd. The design choices are odd. Small hallways are odd. Maintenance short cuts are odd. But worst of all what this well intentioned, dream inspired, institution suffers from most is how dirty this place is. Don't get me wrong, everything is neat. But dust is everywhere. Pillows are sweat stained, linen is thin and overused. Dove feathers litter the floors. Why is this unacceptable? Well because they price themselves at the level of a 4 star guest house. Considering their location, these reasons combine to add to my very few 1 star ratings. Sorry management. I will gladly consider rating higher if cleanliness is addressed.
