Enjoyed the memories of a place I grew up in .great atmosphere and service . I ordered hake and chips that was terrible, dry and ropy almost impossible to eat at all. Never seen expected such a simple dish to be so bad . Sorry .

The Troyeville is the best example of how to turn one's back on urban, city decay. The place is still very popular and has safe parking. Really worth a visit. The ultimate diamond in the extreme rough. Well done to the owners, for what they have done.

Had an excellent lunch for 4 patrons. Excellent service from our waiter. Nothing too much trouble for him. Chicken combo with prawns and chips (which were exactly as we all wanted them to be) was delicious and tasty. Combo prawns and calamari also top class. I would highly recommend this eatery. Good value for the money. Definitely worth the 5 start rating it got.

Went to the restaurant with friends for birthday. The new look was stunning, the restaurant layout was very different as there were many floors offering different atmospheres. We were in an open air room/balcony all to ourselves. There is an old mine lift to take you to the top level with glass roof and awesome bar.Well worth a visit.Menu was good, food delicious and service with big smiles......

Parking is best on the street behind just off Princess. This multilevel establishment is very cool. I attended a birthday celebration on the glasshouse section. Fairly steep steps to get up there but well worth it. The views from there are just fantastic. Our server Bruce was delightful and got all out orders spot on. Would definitely recommend this section of the venue for private gatherings and functions. There were more than enough umbrellas up there to keep 20 of us in the shade for the majority of the afternoon. The food was very nice. I'd have to visit again to try more off the menu.

I am currently having the most delicious buffet and hospitable service at the restaurant. I brought my wife and daughter here for the first time and they absolutely love it. We live 30 minutes away but will definitely be regulars here now.

Went for a beer the place looks nice and clean maybe a little bit expensive for a beer R41 for a castle draught staff polite and friendly plenty of screens showing mainly sports which is great never tried the food hopefully next time I visit I will take time to try the restaurant what i saw other people eating it looked great will post again when I eat there well worth a visit.Went and had the mega breakfast today picture attached best breakfast I've had in a long time and the price was great only R79 absolutely recommend it.

The newly upgraded Troyville Hotel is still a great place for a family Sunday lunch. Or, if you prefer something more lively the Roof Top terrace is the best for a night out!If you are concerned about safety, be assured that you and your vehicle will be perfectly safe. There's a fantastic security team, that's community driven.
