Last week, to be more comfortable, I purchased Safair's most expensive ticket, what they call Fly Like the Boss" or Business class.Today I had to change my flight to the last flight of the day. So

Most incompetent and useless staff I have ever encountered. Lost my luggage and can't even tell me how to resolve it. Apparently, I must now arrange a courier service to send my luggage to my destination. All I have are the clothes on my back for my holiday.DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND BOOK WITH ANY OTHER AIRLINE, SAFAIR ARE A USELESS BUNCH.

It was my first time flying with Safair.I do feel that they need to be more vigilant with passengers who bring along luggage that’s clearly not hand luggage.I sat in the front and I’m aware that I cannot stow it by my feet, so I waited for a hostess to place my handbag into the overhead compartment.I’m not gonna push other customers luggage to fit my bag in. So one asked me to put it up and I handed her my bag, she just looked at it. Lucky for her the head hostess saw this and kindly ask to take my bag and stow it away for me.All in all, it was a good, well priced trip.

Make sure not to let this airline convince you to have your “Hand luggage” stored in the hull as you are boarding.They unpacked these luggage items and left them in a neat pile for you to collect in the pouring rain.

I love flySafair, they are friendly and flights run on time BUT when I have to submit an unaccompanied minor request, it is an absolute nightmare!! Problems with the site, and they WILL not assist you on the phone and let you e mail the requested docs through, so ONCE AGAIN I have to book with another airline? I literally said to the customer service rep so you cannot help me, answer was yes, problem must be my network. I work from home and submit docs on line all the time? SO frustrating!!? Come on guys this is the second time I'm having this issue now?!?

Who would have known that it wouldn't take too many years for this airline to become the rubbish that it is now. Not only do they have alarmingly incompetent customer care employees, who are capable of making mistakes that any sane toddler wouldn't even make but they will also ensure they tire you out with irrational responses to your queries, leaving you with 100% of your money lost and your valuable time wasted. I look forward to seeing this airline go down the drain like those before it.

We were flying from Johannesburg to Cape Town, and a week later back to Johannesburg. Our experience was great. Friendly staff. Will Fly with Safair again when back in Lovely South Africa.

I had a good time travelling on FlySafair. The flight and the seats were comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Both flights were excellent, and on time, although one has to purchase drinks and snacks. The in-flight magazine was very interesting with several good reads. The flight was smooth with a good take-off and landing. The airline offers good value for money since the flight tickets are affordable and well-priced.

Flysafair needs to work on their service when assisting clients with complains.I reported a cancelation error within 5 minutes of processing. There's no after-hours service to help with such. They are not flexible and not accommodating in trying to resolve the errors.It cost us R3.5k more to correct an error that could have been overriden or accommodated with a price match. But the people assisting don't have the patience or urgency to resolve matters to favor the client.I hope you take this information and use it to better your service when it comes to after sales and managing bookings.
