Bosch Car Service Kohler Motors Tokai

Got a service done here less than 2 months ago. It was pricey but I thought they did a good job. Today I went to get new tires for my car (Somewhere else) and they showed me how my rear brake pads were non existent. They also showed the damage done to the disc and explained that this kind of problem definitely wo0uld've been present during my service. Luckily the new place is able to fix it for much less than Kohler motors would've charged. Will not be going back here

I finally found it: the absolute worst car service garage in greater Cape Town! Not only did they spent 4 precious hours whilst my partner waited for the requested (and already quoted for)service, they also increased the quoted amount more than 6 fold.Robbery to say the least!All they managed to do in those 4 hours was a completely unnecessary diagnosis and no work was done.To top it all they would only return the car keys after payment of R 725, - was made for the diagnosis.So please avoid these scammers at all cost. The faster they close this place down,the bettter.

Took my car in to the Tokai branch. Mechanic said the timing belt jumped for some reason causing the engine to seize. Quoted R15000 to fix excl. engineering.Informed mechanic that their Claremont branch serviced said belt 2 years ago.Claremont branch said they have no record of my car ever being there. So I sent them their original quote for when the belt was serviced together with my emails accepting the quote.Then they asked me for proof that I paid them. Luckily I had it in my emails so I sent it to them.Gavin, the guy who originally serviced the belt and now the Claremont manager told me they'd investigate.One week later with no investigation done and none of my phone calls returned, I collected my car and got the job done somewhere else for half the price.

I had a good experience when I first took my vehicle to Bosch in Maitland for a service. However, my last service in May 2016 was not so great (it seems that the management has changed for the worse). I was charged R1072.60 for spark plugs for my honda jazz (rip off), the engine bay was not cleaned, no lube on the door hinges, the car was not vacuumed and they didn't have a driver to pick me up after the service was done. Surely if you pay over R3000 for a car service you would expect some quality.

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER CAME ACROSS!!!! THEY CHARGE ME R11000 FOR A CLUTCH THAT COST 1500 AND THEN THEY SCRATCH MY CAR AND MAGS AND THEY DAMAGE OTHER VITAL PARTS OF MY ENGINE JUST TO MAKE THE BILL EVEN MORE OUTRAGEOUS!!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!

I have used this service centre twice now, and on both occasions very happy. After reading some of the reviews I was doubtful, but following a rave report from a close friend of mine who had broken down with Sabaru, 'they went above and beyond', so he could resume his journey to the east coast, I decided to give them a try .The prices are standard to what the industry charges and kept in the loop of all repairs. Im only scoring a 4 because I would like to get a lift home, even if they used my car as I stay within a 3klm radius, alas I used the opportunity to get my steps in for the day.

The service offered was to the T. Compared to my vehicle agent I trust the work that had to be carried out was done. For instance the oil was changed the coolant was changed spark plugs changed. So will be taking both my cars to this place in future

I was very happy. After seeing the reviews I was skeptical. From the get go staff were friendly and professional. The driver took me to work and fetched me with no problem. My car was returned clean and vacuumed.

Always a pleasure to find a company the stands by its guarantees. We had a re-curing problem with our Smart for 2's battery and they could not have been more helpful. Although the battery had to be replaced it was done with no charge and a smile. I especially respect Johnathan for the professional way he handled us. Well done!

Highly qualified people working on your motor, very friendly and always willing to listen when you are concerned about your vehicle. Staff are polite and well spoken. Manager really impressed with his knowledge and expertise.
