A deceptively enjoyable course. The dry winter air, hard fairways and altitude will have you hitting some mighty long balls. Don't get carried away a diversion into the African rough can have your clothes pulled apart on the thorn bush. One of two courses in Gaborone, the other being the Phakalane estate. Both have their local devotees. Gabarone Golf Club is handily located next to the Gaborone Sun Hotel. Guests at the hotel are entitled to a free 18 holes per stay which helps to break up a business tirp.

I am not a golfer but I have visited the Golf Club several times in the past. Currently i visit from time to time on Mondays at 5pm for a timed 5k run around the gold course. The greens and the landscapes are great. Also has a bar and kitchen that serve food and drinks.

Im not a golfer, but just love this course, for its well established trees and rich birdlife. One of the few safe walking places left in Gaborone.
