A little bit pricy on the more popular items like natural beads and stones. Additionally , situated in a high crime area notorious for high jacking and smash and grabs. I would recommend Bead IT in Benoni, prices are a bit better and neighborhood alot safer

This bead shop has Everything! Just the best humble, unassuming staff who know just when to help, they are knowledgeable and happy to explain what one would need without just trying to up-sell. Definitely worth a visit! Then go round the corner for lunch or coffee or a glass of wine... Melville is special :-)

I received great online service from a lovely lady, Chantelle at The Bead Store in Melville. She arranged my beads for delivery to Cape Town, for the next day, which I received promptly. Super helpful and very friendly service. Highly recommend this bead retailer. Thank you Chantelle for all your great help and for being so sweet. It has been a pleasure dealing with you.

I have not visited the store physically, so I cannot review that, but their online service does not seem to exist. I placed an order 8 days ago and I am still waiting for the invoice or any kind of feedback. Sent several emails to query but no response up to date.

I enjoy going to this Bead shop,I just find everything so very dusty and very narrow isles to walk through.Other than that, I love the staff and love the great selection of Beads

A whole house full of beads? Yes believe it. So many to choose from. Everything you need to make jewellery and prices average. Had help from the lady Infront to choose the correct beads and tools. You can also order their stock online.
