Initially I purchased 2x 5.1kW rack-mounted batteries from LBSA. I was so impressed by the batteries, and LBSA's service that I went ahead and ordered a 3rd one.What impressed me most is the built quality of these batteries, its performance and the excellent service that I received from the sales team.A few things to note, which makes these batteries great, are:1. Build quality is excellent!2. The battery management system is accurate and seamlessly keeps the batteries balanced at all times.3. The Depth-of-Discharge is better than competing brands, so I can utilize more of my stored energy, compared to competing brands.4. Recently re financed my house and decided to borrow a bit more and install a solar system. Bought the inverter and panels in Jhb but then had a very dodgy battery deal where I decided to walk away. I was then stuck with a system without a battery. This made me shop around and I found LBSA. I wanted to meet the people and see the shop in person, so drove through from Rustenburg. Very friendly guys working there, and they assured me it their battery will work with my Growatt inverter. Fast forward a couple of weeks later and the battery and system is running 100%. Had to make one phone call back to ask which CAN protocol to use , and now very happy. I build my own box to house everything and made provision for another battery to get through cloudy and loadshedding days easier. Thank you LBSA

Great service and top quality products at the right price.I have 4x 48V 5.1kWh litium batteries powering 2x 5kW inverters. I am supper impressed with the quality of these batteries and the seamless smart integration with inverters.

Love this product! Had my installation done in February 2021.I was debating the value I would get vs the price. Had original plans of going with gel batteries to reduce the cost, but was convinced by my installers BFO Solar to spend the extra, and couldn't be happier!I added the second battery in March (one more would be perfect to see me through rainy days and winter nights), but not relying on Eskom is a dream come true!

Great Service! Had an issue with the battery(factory flaw), fixed it without hesitation, gave it back in packaging, no problems whatsoever! Will most definitely purchase from them again! Dealt with Andries and purchased two of the 5.1 battery packs online. The battery packs were delivered within 48 hours and the process was effortless. Both batteries were installed at separate locations and have operated faultlessly since installation in February this year. Will definitely purchase more in the future to reduce reliance on Eskom.

I have been using the 5.1kwh 100ah battery for the last few months and I can say they do not disappoint in bethal we have load shedding for 8-10 hours at a time together with my inverter I get threw these load shedding with my Lithium SA Battery with 40%power left so the battery holds a good amount of power for its size the mounting bracket is easy to use I would have like for the Can input to have been on the side or bottom for a bit neater installation the BMS is reliable and accurate.I found their service quick and helpfull and you can order a battery in the morning and collect it the same day you can drive up to their office and they load it for you with no hassles would recommend 5 stars

Im conflicted in my allocation of only three stars as I believe I would have allocated more if I could have got the batteries which in my opinion are very good to talk or communicate properly with my Mercer inverters!My problem is that apparently the state of charge status on both the Mercer and the battery are in Conflict of each other. Mercer shows 100% battery battery show 30%. As a result power does not last the night. I'm not technically minded and have sought help from installers and from lithium batteries sa. Apparently there is no way to communicate between the two entities. Which is disappointing as I was not made aware of this before my purchase. Maybe my ignorance is at fault here!In summary I'm happy with the batteries find it very reasonably priced. The people I spoke to about the batteries before my purchase were very enthusiastic about the product. Me personally I feel disappointed! Apparently my only way forward would be fork out +/- 30k on a new inverter go figure!
