Worst experience ever, the staff allow a homeless man to harass customers in the forecourt!

My family and I (and friends in the area) have been filling up up at Caltex Cambridge (now rebranded) for many years. Problem with the card machine for fuel this week (late in the afternoon), so the attendant tried another and I was worried that the transaction had gone through twice (darn technology!). I checked my bank when I got home and it had (as Caltex and as Astron, both times with the same reference number). I immediately called Astron Energy Cambridge and the lady answering said no problem, just to bring in proof of the double transaction and they would refund me. I did that the next day and the manager (Bayanda Manyaka) was very apologetic and so gracious. He had the transaction refunded an hour later, sent a message to say it was happening and emailed the POP, with further apologies for the inconvenience.No harm done, and that is how a bad incident is turned around and good service and attitude is rewarded by continued repeat business and a pleasant anecdote to share with friends and family.
