My mom has lived in the manor for 10 years. The security is fantastic. The grounds are well maintained and the staff are so friendly. The pool is spotless and walk ways are teaming with bird life. A truely amazing place to live.

Just moved in here. The grounds are kept immaculate by the garden service. Security is great, and the estate managers are on site in an office and accessible to residents. I love having the walking path and sunny lawns to enjoy. Being pet friendly, there is quite a bit of noise from barking etc. Some of the structures and fencing are looking tired, and there are a few units that aren't complying with the aesthetic rules to keep the place looking neat and pleasing. Only having one parking per unit (for most units) is inconvenient, and there are no garages. Other than that, I am comfortable in Sheffield Manor because fortunately, my husband and I live simply and with minimal items etc.

Sheffield Manor area is such a lovely place, but residents have been getting more and more animals with snares and snare injuries in the area. The open piece of land on the P228 between the highway and Elaleni estate, across the road from the new Seaton development, is littered with snares. 'Hunting dogs' accompany their owners to patrol the snares that are destroying the wildlife in the area. I was told by a local animal welfare volunteer that he knows who the dogs belong to and that the wildlife is being trapped for muti and food. So sad. I picked up some beautiful feathers and 2 porcupine quills...I hope he's still alive. We are going to contact KZN wildlife to try and assist, but the community needs to add their voice to put pressure on them to try and relocate the wildlife (maybe into nearby estates), educate the perpetrators, and stop the cruel practise of snaring.
