Called the agent to view a property for purchase. Also tried whatsapp. Agent says she'll call you back with information but never gets back. Eventually had to go through another agency but lost the property to another buyer because Halbe agent is non responsive

I have rented a property from this agency from Jan 2020 to Jan 2021. Till today the I haven't got my deposit from the agency. They keep referring me to the owner of the apartment who has since blocked my calls and doesn't reply to any of my messages as she says the agency has to pay my deposit. I'm beyond frustrated witj the service. Even when I was staying there they failed to fix most of the things that were communicated to them. I have been paying rent without fail but now I want my deposit they taking me from pillar to post. I want my money

If I could give MINUS 5 stars to anyone it would be Halbe properties. We rented a place through them and live there for two weeks before they let us know that the owner had sold the place. We had a week old baby and even though we signed a year contract they gave us two months notice to move out. We had not had a chance yet to pay the R1300 contract fee that they required and then decided to not pay it since THEY broke the contract. It took them weeks to pay back our deposit and even then they deducted the R1300 amount.The place we rented was falling apart and even though we informed them of the problems in the home they never came out to fix it. Doors were falling off, the oven was coming out of it’s socket, and tiled were broken on the stairs so you would slip and fall on the stairs when the chipped pieces came loose.They have no regard for signed contracts and no regard for people. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I was living in Herronbrook Estate in Esther park Kempton. I moved out on the 27 of November 2020. They accused me of leaving the house in a state. Which is far from the truth. They have not paid the refund of the deposit back to me it is over 21 days and over 30days since I moved out. They are incompete never respond to emails explaining whats going on ive only received terrible service the admin lady responds in a very rude way I have now opened a case because this comp has failed to keep to the contract terms and are in breach of the contract. I've constantly had two years of not communicating when theres changes in the complex constant attitude from the agent Patricia and admim Cheryl. Please dont use this company as a landlord or renter.

Great people to deal with who are definitely willing to go the extra mile. They helped me to get my property rented in a jiffy after another agency kept me on a line for months. Even went as far as to collect the keys from the other agency. Haven't had an issue since.

Wow, we received the poorest of poor response from one of their estate agents if this is how it starts then maybe it is a good thing we didn't even go and look at the property we do not need this type of service. They are definately not people orientated, quite sad.
