Oaklands Veterinary Clinic

I cannot rate Oaklands Veterinary Clinic highly enough. They have been treating our Miniature Schnauzers and Labrador Retriever through an autoimmune disease, injuries, upset tummies, leaking bladders and everything in between for the last 6 years. The staff are all incredible, from front staff and reception to Zweli and the incredible team of vets. Our dogs have been treated by Jacques, Charlotte, Jenna and Roxy, who are all highly skilled, knowledgeable, calm,kind and reassuring. They truly LOVE animals and give them the best care at all times.

Best vets in Joburg, I will drive across town to see them. They love my dogs, and are so kind and helpful.

Excellent service all round. Max and I feel secure and confident in their hands. Every time I visit the service is brilliant. The doctors are kind and helpful and informative.They really care about the patient at all times. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else, even if it means a longer drive.

First rule when dealing with complaints/reviews, don't attack the customer for sharing their experience. Apart from being expensive and running a practice seemingly only for the profit, the attitude and actions of these guys when it comes to criticism leaves a lot to be desired. Fortunately there are plenty of other Vets in the area.

Vet writes angry messages to customers alluding that they are neglecting their pet. Explaining things as if customers have never owned a pet before.Pricing is far from competitive.

Better caring, dedicated, walking the extra mile, vets like this practice is unique

The vets called me twice to update me about my dogs during the day. One needed teeth extracted the other needed extra tests and both procedures were explained clearly and permission requested. The next day a follow up call was made to check on both my precious dogs. I have never experienced such care this is outstanding service. Today the vet Jenna again called to clarify something I called to ask about and answered all my questions. Thank you so much for caring about the dogs and anxious mommies. This starts at the reception ladies who are kind and caring to Abie the gentleman who assisted take my dogs in and out of the car to the vets who go way beyond their call of duty. This was my first visit with my adopted k9 Law dog and my own dog and I will definitely be back.

Great vet, very pleased with the service.Our 8 week border collie puppy swallowed our child's sock. OMG. We had 2 x vaccinations for each of.our fluff balls. An x-ray of the pup to check for the socks mate and purchased hills and royal canine kibble. The bill was very reasonable.

Since relocating a year ago, we have found a place where our two dogs receive the best attention and care from the wonderful team here who also go the extra mile in caring for your furry friends! I would highly recommend them!
