House of Salim

I bought a lounge suite from House of Salim at the Glen Shopping Centre. Very disappointed with their service and quality of goods. I paid R25,000 for my lounge suite, within a month the one couches broke. after numberous fights with them they came to collect the couch. Three weeks later after numerous calls to Muhammed I was told to speak to Salim the owner himself. Full of empty promises. If I new that they would be so unprofessional i would have never bought anything from them.. I think it is time that we take them to Carte Blanche. Their stuff is very expensive and you would expect that if you buy from them that you would get good quality. Very disappointed as soon as they have their money they don't care about their customers anymore. If i could give you advice rather go to a reputable company that care about their customers. I have learned that before I buy from a company that i dont know i will go and search their reviews. I will definitely not go back to them again and will advice all my friends and family not to ever buy anything from them

Best furniture but you have to know your story when coming to that store...quality tops

I bought a solid wood set for R22k.The set is NOT solid wood and is actually chipboard finished to look like wood. I will never buy from these guys again.

Pathetic service very rude staff even the floor manager Muhammad is irresponsible...he took all sizes of my desire dressing table to get back with pricing which he never atlast when I visited advised via someone else with abnormal price. Not even bothered to apology or talk to me....must never buy from them. Don't know how can the owners appoint such staff.

I purchased a lounge suite from the store at the Glen in 2019. The furniture was delivered on the date promised. After many years, last December 2022, i needed to move my lounge suite. But i was hesitant to tell anyone due to safety of my furniture. It is in very good condition and i though of contacting uncle salim at House of Salim.Without any hesitant, he gave me contact number of his driver and he assist us with moving our lounge suite, kept it at his warehouse and brought it back in same good condition.I am happy with the furniture and the service received from House of Salim.

I purchased a lounge suite from the store at the Glen. The furniture was delivered on the date promised.I was not happy with my purchase. I spoke to Salim and the replacement unit was delivered on the date and time promised. I am happy with the furniture and the service received from House of Salim.

Slowly following up on my wife's query, hopefully it's not going to be as bad as the other reviews I read here,we bought a 3pce lounge suite for R45 000 but when it was delivered we realized almost every stitch in every corner is too stretched and almost tearing almost the third week now.not sure why it's dragging seems the energy to solve queries is low.i am slowly following for sure

Faulty cabinet delivered late at a cost and they refused to give a full refund. Definitely never going to purchase anything from them again.

House of Salim - Dishonest & UnethicalI bought furniture for R77500. All the furniture that was delivered was directly from the floor (used) & not from the warehouse (new - as Salim promised) The result was that most of the furniture was damaged eg glass table scratched, two mis matched Dhalia chairs with dents & insufficient foam in couches. I took it up with Salim & after months of trying to resolve this matter I requested that he should at least replace the two mis-matched Dhalia chairs but he's refusing. Salim is an unethical & dishonest businessman. Don't buy from House of Salim - you will regret it!KARMA knows your address Salim - no GPS or location is needed!
