Please in heavens name avoid using this company at all costs. Paid to renew my vehicle license 1month ago and still have not received any feedback whatsoever.Calls go unanswered, mails go unanswered. My vehicle license has now expired, my money has been taken, absolutely USELESS!

e mails dont get answered phone just rings, not the first time either. Overall this is a very poor service provider.

Avoid this company.Road Protect is not worth the effort. After more than a month of no feedback I've had to follow up constantly. I eventually got a refund but that was after multiple calls (where I only got as far as the switchboard) and over 10 emails requesting for a status update (most of which were ignored).

If I could give zero I would. Tried to renew my vehicle license. After a month I decided to renew the license myself at the municipality to avoid penalties. Requested the cancelation of my license through Road Protect and a refund. Had to phone FNB customer care to get a response from this company after a week and several emails later. Eventually they did not process my request in time and they delivered a renewed license disk but for a vehicle I do not own. This company's business model is truely concerning since client's sensitive information is not protected, (as in the case of the wrong license disk), emails just bouces from one person to another without any response and I still have not received any refund 4 months later.

I renewed my license with them via FNB before it expired. I paid and then received an email with no body and literally 2 words in the subject... awaiting docs". I replied to ask what documents they require and received no response. 11 days later

They took half of my claim money and told me that City of Johannesburg only pay's half. I just finalized a different claim from COJ and they payed for a new tire. 100%.Just Google public liability claim form send them everything to COJ.

After more than 3 weeks requesting renewal of my car licences , it is still in 'progress'. Poor service.There should be an option to give 0 stars

Would give 0 stars if I could.I have used them 3 times, and every time I have an issue. Every time I give them the benefit of the doubt, and tell myself they will probably be better next time.This is the last time I ever use them. After waiting 2 weeks without any communication, they declined my license renewal and refunded me with no explanation. After a whole lot of back and forth (now my disk has expired) while waiting for them. They say my proof of residence was declined. But the same proof of residence was fine for the bank a week back.Last year my father used them for license disk renewal, and they lost his documentation and forgot about him, took him 2 months to get his vehicle license renewed through them.

Possibly the worst service I've had from any company in a long time. Applied for two license renewals via FNB's app on the 11th of July. 13 weeks later, after dozens of emails and phone calls to both FNB and Road Protect, where FNB just shrugged their shoulders and said it was Road Protect's problem and not theirs, I get told my money has been refunded and the licenses couldn't be issued because of incorrect documentation. 5 days after the supposed documentation issues there's still no refund. The documents were 100% as requested by Road Protect. No-one phones back, most emails go unanswered. Truly pathetic service. I will never use them again and will be taking it up further with both FNB and the owner of Road Protect.
