Positive vibe ...staff always helpful with a variety of clothing, accessories and shoes for hire...hands on approach...if shared would benefit a lot of retail shops.

A bit disappointed to find out after I waited for some time for the phone to be answered, that this Costume Hire does NOT rent out to the public... is this common knowledge in Cape Town? Or did I miss something in the Google map info that actually says so...?Dear owner, thank you for your reply and after I checked your website, I can see that you do not rent out 'fancy dress', which is also made clear in your google listing.I was not after a fancy dress. I was looking to hire an Astronaut Suit, therefore your company was high on my to-be-contacted list.I would not have wasted my time waiting for your phone to be answered if your listing would clearly state that you simply do not rent any of your costumes to the public.If I am and have been so far the only person (from the public) calling in to enquire about an outfit, then I apologise for being so naiv to think that 'no fancy dress' actually means what it says 'no fancy dress'.Should this though not be an isolated incident, you might want to reword your advertising slightly and simply say what you mean: No renting to the public! It would save time, energy and disappointment for everybody involved, and nobody would feel disgruntled either. Or?And no worries: I will take my review down once you have acknowledged receipt of these additional lines.

Went for fittings today and was super impressed by the covid formalities. Everyone had masks, temps were taken, a register was kept and sanitiser was in abundance. Well done guys :)

Very wide array of clothing items to pick from! The store is massive, yet very well kept. The staff was very professional and friendly, always willing to answer any questions and help out where they can.Clothing items, props and costumes are well priced to rent for the most part and the store even features pieces of clothing that were actually worn in the world wars, etc.Pleasant experience all around, will visit again.

Close to main road in Salt River. Close to public transport. Easy to find. 2 Manrose street. Inside a secure business park. Ample parking. Friendly personnel. Clean office. Comfortable seating. Free drinks and snacks offered. Clean restroom. Easy to find. Close to Durham Avenue Salt River.

This was a superb experience. No stress fittings. The ladies were really awesome. First time back in the saddle for a good few years....

Well organised, relaxed environment that makes the sometimes stressful business of 'wardrobe' easier. And the resident cat is such a handsome chap!

This place is the place for costume hire with a very wide variety of outfits from different eras. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Went in there without a stylist and came out 3 hours later with the perfectly put together 1800s outfit. Facilities and rooms are also great and I recommend Costume Hire very highly for anyone serious about attention to detail.
