The Haga Haga hotel is in a picturesque seaside village about 1hr15 from East London. There is a 13km dirt road to end the trip, but manageable in a regular car. The hotel is right on the beach, the sound of the waves is loud, almost overwhelming. Expect to experience the ocean in a unique way, watching the huge waves roll in from your couch. Unfortunately the hotel itself is past it's prime. It's very clean, neat but definitely showing its age. That said, definitely worth a visit and you won't find a better spot to drink a beer watching the waves within 200km.

I have had lovely meals at the Haga Haga hotel.The venue is beautifully situated and you can watch the waves rolling in.Service is good.
