The Amalfi Boutique Hotel

It is not boutique hotel just little better than hostel. They gave us the room that is always noisy because there is many fans front of balcony and no desk and no couch in the room while we booked for 20 days, other customers just stay for 1-2 days mostly. They changed the room but air conditioner was not working in the new room. One of the most hottest day in cape town I used air fan! Reception is not really friendly if you are not South African. Manager was not looking for solution when we had problem. I had to use 2 cards to enter the room always. You can’t download something on internet if you need for your work. Very unqualified hotel staff. Everything seems nice until you enter the room. You can stay in many hotels with same price in Sea Point, just make a booking earlier.

If there's any boutique hotel I'd also recommend to solo travelers, then it has to be The Amalfi Boutique Hotel.The hotel is on Regent Street at Seapoint and it is super safe, neat, quiet and affordable.I had a great time here and didn't feel unsafe as a solo traveler. The receptionists were excellent and always ready to assist me when and where necessary.Although they do not provide complimentary meals, you'll be just fine as there are tons of restaurants close by, and even one on the ground floor of the hotel building.

The staff there were nice and friendly, the cleaning service was poor. Our room had a broken air corn we asked for it to be fixed or give us extra blankets as its cold. They never did. Other than that the place was nice and safe.

The Amalfi boutique" hotel. The room I stayed in was bare and cheap looking. No interior decorating at all. No effort in creating a comfortable environment. It was a spacious room

First time going there. Neat, clean very friendly staff. The food from the downstairs restaurants really good. Had Mexican omelette tasty & spicy. Boutique also stocks lovely things. Would I go stay there again? Yes definitely lovely atmosphere.

The rooms were basic but very comfortable and well laid out.The service from the front desk was excellent and helpful. The cleaning staff were slow.Great location if you'd like to be in the middle if the sea point action as everything is a walk away.

We spent our honeymoon at your hotel from the 31st of March to 9 April. Your service was impeccable, the rooms were cleaned daily and always greeted with a big smile. Your location is also perfect! Close to all the shops, great restaurants and the ocean. Would definitely stay with you again

Sadly there is nothing ‘Boutique’ about this hotel. Certainly two very cool restaurants you have but that design does not extend to the hotel above. My room had a rusty fridge, rusty balcony furniture, and a very weird smell. None of that screams boutique to me. The kind of room you just use to sleep in and store your luggage, I didn’t want to spend one minute in here during the day.Location is great though and the staff are friendly.If you are looking for a very basic hotel, this is it.(To management - perhaps worth either making the hotel boutique - or removing ‘boutique’ from the name)

We loved our stay at the Amalfi, staff was extremely friendly, on site safe parking,great wifi(my kids loved that)no loadshedding during day, and just a comfortable no fuss room, every thing you need inside for a right at home feel stay.The area is safe to walk, mother with 2 kids felt safe at all times. Amazing restaurants all around especially on ground floor. If you want to feel the city buzz and right at home at the same time,Amalfi is a perfect fit.

This is a nice place to go for short or long stays. The location is perfect to go eat or go for walks around. The employees were really friendly and accommodating to our needs. I liked the cleaning ladies smile and friendliness especially. The place was clean, cozy and with the good bed and balcony even better. Will be staying there again in future.
