Duerell's School of Music, Drama and Dance

Initially I was beyond excited when my boys started lessons with Durrell. However as time went by things changed and sadly soured.Last year I had a real struggle at Ashton trying to get my eldest son’s Eistedford results from the Eistedford accepted by the school, as they said that Duerell should have known that he should have entered my son in at at least one discipline.During this time period, Duerell called me in for a meeting to discuss my son’s performance. When I arrived, expecting a one on one informal chat, I was instead greeted with an ambush of Durrell and staff. I felt like I was in a disciplinary hearing and was ‘chastised’ to the point of tears.My younger son continued with his drum lessons. I gave notice yesterday as he said that Durell made him feel bad about his talent. Today when I went to drop him off, he asked me to not leave him and to please wait ‘in case Duerell shouts at him and makes him feel bad.’To shorten a long story, I gave Duerell notice and instead of grace I was met with ‘blame’ and it was handled totally unprofessionally.Durrell may know music, but he unfortunately doesn’t know people, business or customer care.
