WhiskyBrother Bar | Dedicated Whisky Bar | Morningside Sandton | The WhiskyBrother Bar is Johannesburg's first and only dedicated whisky bar, currently offering over 1,500 whiskies available for tasting, in a beautifully-designed, custom-built and comfortable space. We built the bar in 2017 to create a place in Joburg that showcased the largest selection of whisky in the city.

What an amazing experience!Eddy is extremely knowledgeable on all things whisky.We tried the Irish route and was amazed by all the different whiskeys: with their flavours and smells.We will be back soon to venture down the next route.

They probably have the most comprehensive whisky selection available in South Africa. The staff are very friendly and experts on their whisky selection. They offered fantastic recommendations based on my whisky-preferences. I have added photos of the whiskies recommended to me by Valentine, the bar manager, who managed to keep me both entertained and in whisky Nirvana the entire evening.If you are in any way interested in whisky then WhiskyBrother Bar is an absolutely essential destination. Highly recommended!

Great whisky bar with an incredible selection of whisky. They are always adding new whiskies to the selection. The whiskies are very expensive, but if you want quality you have to pay. Great to taste that bottle of expensive whisky before you make the big investment.

With well over 1000 different whiskeys to try, this place is an absolute gem. The guys that work there are extremely knowledgeable and are happy to give you a bit of background on a specific scotch or even assist in taking you through a tasting journey. If you like whiskey and you have not been to this bar. You are missing out on something great.

This is absolutely spectacular place for anyone, who appreciates whisky.Selection of 1400 different whiskys, knowledgeable and friendly staff (special shout-out to Eddy), great atmosphere and ambiance - it's flawless, really!

BEST WHISKEY EXPERIENCE!I had the pleasure of having a private tasting recently. It was such a pleasant experience to be able to learn more about appreciating whiskey.I was very impressed with the following:1. Wide selections of whiskey on offer.2. Friendly and super competent staff.3. Class of the setup.4. Private room was classy, intimate and just the perfect setting for a group of people to appreciate the whiskey tasting experience.5. The tasting was unrushed and that made me enjoy it even more.I wish for this establishment to expand to more locations in the future to allow for more people to experience this!PS: I hope more people can support gems like these more often to allow them to keep their doors openWill definitely recommend this place and be back very soon!

Did the Private Whiskey tasting. Fortune was knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. Was definitely an amazing experience. The Bar itself is huge. Has so many choices for you to experience new tastes in Whiskey. Definitely a must try to taste whiskys from the world and learn more about the place.
