Hosted by a organization called Great girls.They prepare ,train and develop young girls to find their purpose and dicover their worth..The staff and caretaker's of New world Foundation were very helpfull,friendly and approachable

Community based NGO which deals with the diverse social ills in Lavender Hill as we as the broader community. The majority of the facilitators working there comes from the programs/ workshops run by New World Foundation. It empowers the scholar, unemployed as well as the employed to enhance their skill set for better employment and new job seekers.

It's a non profit community organisation,,situated in the gangland of Lavender Hill. This after the Group Areas Act , the act that forcefully removed coloureds from their established areas such as District Six, Claremont, Simons Town, Diep River. It offers artisan, computer, sewing classes as well as a creche and pre school classes. The building is well maintained. Jobs are created for the unemployed in the community. It also hosts exchange student positions.

New world foundation assisted me in a situation pertaining my 7 year old son. CAFDA Social Workers were contacted to mediate the situation and used the New world foundation offices for the mediation sessions. All issues were resolved and their friendliness, empathy and professionalism made the situation very easy and comfortable for both myself and my son. :)I recommend them to any family needing assistance with family related issues. Their facility is neatly kept and always filled with friendly and smiley faces.
