Fidelity ADT George

Called Joshua (Manager) 3 weeks ago and raised questions about the time for Armed Response going out when alarm is activated. Was also told if I cancel my contract, they will remove the system from my house. At time of contract the Sales Person confirmed that the system will be mine after 2 years. Contract taken out 2017.Queried also why my monthly fee is DOUBLE that other Companies. Still waiting on Joshua to call me back. Shocking!!

If you’re looking for safety and peace of mind, think very carefully before engaging this company. When my alarm was activated the responding officer failed to notice a very obvious break-in (I have 4 windows, 1 of which was shattered with stuff hanging out) and reported the activation as a false alarm. Suspicious. When I reported this, I was told the branch manager (who’s been mentioned negatively in other reviews) would phone me back. I waited a month. When I finally phoned again to cancel my contract, the branch manager tried to upsell me before blaming me for not securing my property. At the time, I was paying ADT to secure my property which they failed to do. So it’s unclear as to why he thinks their incompetence is my fault. Instead of paying ADT, set your money on fire. It’s more effective as a deterrent to skelms

Called to ask them to replace the their board on my wall.. its falling apart. Supposed to be free.. call 3 times. Stopped the technician in the bakkie when passed my house. Asked him to replace. Call their office week later to know when they replacing. Called their complaints dept. Had to hold for 5min . Finally hung up on them . Will go to office which is 60km away...

I give a single star, because I can not give zero stars. Their sales and internal technical teams are useless. They can not order correct equipment for installations. They do not respond to questions and concerns in time.2 Days ago my alarm triggered and the response vehicle arrived an hour later. The control room's response was that they had numerous false alarms due to loadshedding, but my area load shedded 10 hours earlier, so a canned response.Stay away from them.

Second last alarm activation nobody showed up. Got home before ADT and after an hour and a half I cancelled response. Last alarm they took an hour to eventually show up. Used to be good, now seem pointless to me. Nobody bothered to follow up after multiple requests with call center. Two contracts cancelled. Bye!

Fast response and Much better than the cops

At just after 13h00 a patrol car pulled up onto our pavement to park in the shade. Security guard got out and stood next to car eating his lunch. Once finished, drops box and yoghurt container on pavement and drives off. Don't want to deal with a company whose staff have no respect and setting bad example.

Slowwwww response, they insist you can't leave their services once you're in a contract even though it takes them ages to get to your home after the panic button has been activated. We had an intruder trip the alarm. The company had an automated call come through to us and we pressed tge option that we needed armed security to come through. No one came for 40 minutes. Then they called us and I asked why had no one come yet, and the lady said i hadn't answered her call. I explained i had selected tge automated option , then dropped my phone and ran to tge kids on the opposite side of the house...and we were too scared to go back for the phone. We sat in fear for 40 minutes while this USELESS company did nothing. A month ago I asked for a quote to increase our security still not received anything. And three months before that I had also asked for quotes to improve security and still no response. There's no email address to email them for support or to terminate your contract with them for terrible service. So you're forced to speak to someone who will come to your house and make promises. But here we are, still terrible service. Go with Scorpios Security instead.

I've never came across a company more useless and pathetic than Fidelity ADT George. We are utterly disappointed in this company's quality of service. We phoned eleven times only to get one single beam fix and still NO reaction or any response!!

A few times the response was slow and we were really scared because we've had a lot of problems around here. But after I told them the severity if the situation, the team really improved a lot. While not consistent, we are grateful that we had a super speed response on a night that we had an intruder. Although the intruder got away, we had the safety of an armed guard walking through the property which made us feel a little better.
