I have used this branch for over 15 years. Very sociable staff and wide range of equipment.

Bad old equipment and bad customer service (no customer service)Terrible service in this branch in cape town cbd. Hired a 150mm orbital sander which I have used many times before and when I started sanding it was fine for 2 mins, then whenever I put any pressure on it it stopped. Tried it several times but didn't work so my guy took it back as they wouldn't collect it, they turned it on in the back and said it works so no refund but didn't try sand anything with it like I said. I phoned them and told them as soon as someone else hires it they will have the same problem, still refused to refund even though it didn't work and didn't use it. Said someone would call me but as usual with companies like this no one called me back. Not worth pursuing over R150 but why lose a regular customer over that when coastal hire is over the road.

Have to commend all the staff at Sales Hire Cape Town and Angelo in particular - everyone is super efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I'm always greeted by name even if I haven't been to the store in months. The tools and equipment that I've hired have always all been in prime condition. The service and store areas are kept incredibly neat and clean. Well done guys, you stand out from the rest

I have been using Sale's Hire for over a decade. They go out of their way to look after contractors. Today Angelo really helped us out at short notice. Great service & tools. Bob the Plumber

Conveniently close to the greater Cape Town area for all your building equipment requirements. Delivery and collection can be arranged, which I would suggest because parking space can be tricky. A strict covid awareness protocol is adhered to on the premises.

Huge deposits, promised to be refunded on return of equipment. Equipment returned and they did not keep their side of the deal - 6 days later, endless messages and phone calls and I am still waiting for over R3000 to be returned to me ...........
