The salesperson's behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful when I informed her that I had already booked with another company. She proceeded to belittle the moving company I had selected and implied that my decision was foolish, despite Master Movers' pricing being R2,000 more expensive.A more appropriate response from the salesperson would have been to inquire about why I ultimately chose a different option. Instead, her behavior was condescending and insulting. Would not recommend them.

Before you go with Master Movers, let me share my experience.I must say, I have never in my life till now experience such a disgusting service from management to ground staff. I will never ever in my life recommend anyone to Master Movers and having the possibility for one to experience what I have gone through.BEWARE LENGHTY POST - Have tried to cut it short as its was over a period of 5months.After 5 and half months, where master is not willing to own up to the damages caused by their incompetent staffs. I have to share my experience so there is no other should experience the same.@Mastermoverssa, I will never ever in my life, refer anyone to Mastermovers.1) Bookings and payment made over 2weeks in advance for the move, they sent a “COLLECTORS OF USED OIL” van to move my furniture of which they told me that was the “ONLY VAN” they could get when I phoned. they told me they had the van for days and have been using it to do the jobs and I should not worry as they have blankets to cover up the furnitures. When I asked the lady, “do you know which side was touching the grease and oil?” then she kept quiet!!!2) The bin was covered with a thick layer of grease and oil.3) They phoned in the morning to find out if they could come earlier as it was raining, so they wont be caught in traffic. They already knew its raining yet, they didn’t bring anything to cover the furnitures. As a professional moving company, they should be prepared for all type of weather!4) They did not cover my furnitures when tying it down, they put the rope directly on top of it and tied down causing damages to my furniture5) My furntures were in the rain UNCOVERED while they were driving/moving to my new premise. My mattress was wet and together with all the other furnitures6) They forced my couch through the door causing damages to two door frames and to the couch too.7) Most of my custom made shelving and toddlers bed was dented and wet damage8) They wanted to settle the case with 30% (R843.53)of my move when they have damaged way over 20-30k worth of furniture9) Odelle came to see the damages and said would come back to me of which she didin’t10) i have waited for over a month and I approached JHB and spoke to Carla, of which she said she would assist and one of the email to me was “What is the excess please on your existing householders insurance policy please out of interest?”, “I wondered if we could settle your excess to get all resolved”. Why must my insurance pay for your companies mistake and I get the chance of having a premium increase?For the past over 5 months, I had to keep on phoning and phoning and left messages where 90% of the time they don’t even reply. Till today nothing was said or done from Mastermovers.JOB WELL DONE!!If you going to go with MASTERMOVERS, good luck! You will need it.#mastermovers #mastermoverssa #movergonebad

The WORST choice you could make. After payments are made they go dead on you no communication whatsoever. I literally had to call them everyday for any updates. Jason the manager was the worst a liar even because my things got delayed by a week instead of him being truthful and telling me the updates he was giving me a run around.You really don’t need this stress on top of the moving stress already !

They have since collected my furniture from Jhb on Wednesday & I’ve been phoning them countless times asking when I will receive them and they all keep saying they will phone back . Today is Monday evening and still no email , no call & no furniture!! I am extremely disappointed !!! Everything about them is unprofessional no one was able to even give me an estimated date of when my stuff will arrive . It’s been 5 days !!!! I’m unhappy with the service honestly!!! Why can’t the staff communicate or at least email me back with the same energy they used to bill me

I have already paid in full, Master movers are scheduled to move my furniture tomorrow and according to them their operations call you 2 days before to plan I have contacted them 4 times now and still operations don't get back to me, this is very unprofessional, starting to think this is a scam.

I dealt mainly with Jason from Ballito branch.From word go, he was very professional, pleasant and keen to service every aspect of the move/removal.I also had excellent service from Eric in Operations. Was such a pleasure working with such dedicated people!! Thank YOU!!

Terrible experience! The quote which had been paid, suddenly was increased by 50% more, on the eve of a public holiday, so we weren't able to find an alternative so last minute as our flights to leave kzn were in a few days times. They arrived very late, very understaffed, damaged items and some missing were missing when the truck arrived in CPT. Every time we called, we told to speak to someone else, another dept, etc, all avoid taking accountability. Shocking service! Definitely would NOT recommend using them.

Delivery date was pushed twice. No updates to the client until I made enquiries about them not showing up on first deadline. Then when my stuff eventually came my fridge has 3 very visible dents, and a broken wheel. The bed was wet and ripped on the corner. Friendly advice, stay away from this company. Matter of fact they should be called a scrap yard. That's the state of my items......... The fridge was wrapped and the bed was wrapped. You ought to have checked the details on the invoice before the reply. The fact that you keep bringing up the price is infuriating. As if you mean I should accept bad service because of a price. You uandled my itrms poorly and you have the nerve to talk about good price. You are an even bigger joke

The lady named Odelle guaranteed us that she will have our quote sent through to us within minutes, bragging about how exceptional service Master Movers offers to their competitors. She never emailed the quote. Upon making several calls, she insisted she sent the quote days before and that she would resend it. I sent a follow up email to them and still nothing. Eventually when I called in stating I will take my business elsewhere then she emailed the quote (a week after my initial request) and it was dated the same date as the day she emailed it. They really do take us for fools.. never will give them the time of day!
