Lepelle Lodge

One of the best places ever been, service was tops ( thanx Frans!) A true gem hidden in the bush veld. Would love to take the whole family there

What a fantastic stay we had! Wiews are amazing, food is good, the place is clean and the staff welcoming. I would highly recommend Lepêllê Lodge to anyone looking for accomodation in the area.

I really enjoyed it here. The trees show off all the Autumn colours. The comfortable wooden deck face the most awesome views. There is some wildlife like giraffe, kudu, impala, warthog and birds we've seen. The Spekboom river meander through the lodge where wildlife come quench their thirst, also to be seen from the deck. Our room, the Loerie, has a deck as well overlooking the river and cliff face. Food was really awesome. The highlight of the day was the sunset. Beautiful colours observed right from the deck while sipping on ice cold beverages. Loved it l, thanks Lepele

Stayed in so called Family Chalet which was lovely.... But it's signed as Rondavel, and poor communication about this which meant we drove a 10 km journey along a road that was too rough for a little corolla! No mention of this it other arrangements on any website. Need a higher clearance car for all roads esp to the Rondavels......we bottomed out many many times and had to walk 3 people the 1.5km out the next morning! Access to Lodge is complex needing phones to be answered but few ever were....and communications need to improve about where to go on arrival as a night watchman waits at the chalet for you but you need to pay in main building!! Chalet itself was lovely, lodge was pretty a d very chilled with nice views and great pool. If road was sorted AND communications improved would be 4 or 5 star.

Looking for a place to stay off the beaten track but with all the normal luxuries this is it. Awesome place clean and neat you will have to go far to find something to complain about. Food and service was great.

Really a cosy gem sitting in the mountains of burgersfort. A river literally runs through the lodge. Great service food and the best staff who make you feel at home. Great little fishing sites on the plot with plenty yellow fish and barbel. My new favorite place to stay when I'm in town.

The best by far in terms of hospitality. The area is secluded and perfect for some peace and quiet space. The view from our challet was to die for. Will definitely be going back soon.

Awesome and breathtaking,nature at its best,peaceful and animals are not further than a metre from you when you go for a walk.Wonderful restaurant bar and units.

So at first driving on this horrible gravel road to lepelle gives you a bad idea of the establishment, until you find yourself in the middle of hundreds of little eyes watching you entering their space.. kudu, impala, nyala, duiker and giraffe. You suddenly get the feeling of pure nature.A breath of fresh air and a little bit of paradise.Everyone very welcoming and the food is to die for.For anyone who wishes for the perfect getaway.. this surely is the place for you.Thank you for your hospitality, excellent service and beautiful establishment.
