Shocking after-sales service and un-willing to fix issues!! Not what you’d expect from an upmarket and expensive brand/store. We whole-heartedly do not recommend St Ledger and Viney to anyone.We spent over R150 000 on material at St Ledger through our interior designer. Within weeks, one of the fabrics used on our headboards and couches was flattening and leaving big circulars mark where our heads had been.After many complaints, inspections and e-mails, we waited months for them to conclude their internal processes with their own suppliers - we got nowhere with a replacement or refund of the problem fabric. This even after the owner, David Ralphs, admitted that he would not be happy with the fabric himself! We also had the fabric tested at our own cost and received a report to the same effect.In the end, after 6 months of back and forth, the owner merely pointed our designer in the direction of their T’s and C’s. What a let-down for a good customer that has spent so much with them. We are now beginning the legal process to recover what we spent on the defected fabric.
