Klein Waterval Riverside Lodge

The lodge is located in the middle of the wine region and offers a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. You have a great view of the vineyards and the beautiful landscape. The lodge offers a very cozy lounge where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. In the morning breakfast is served in the open dining room and on the terrace. The lodge offers an Honesty Bar, where you can even prepare your own long drinks on a trust basis. This is located right by the beautiful and very stylish pool. The friendliness and service were excellent. We were assisted and very well advised in reserving a wine tasting and a table for dinner. We had a tasting and subsequent dinner at the Mont Rochelle Winery, both of which are highly recommended. Everything was excellent all around and we would be very happy to come back.

Five star lodge. No doubt. Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the countryside. Very clean and beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast and a service we have been looking for for a long time. The pool and the bar area are so chilled and awesome, one can’t imagine.Family business with a vineyard and hundreds of lemon trees.Very safe place and close to many wine estates, to Franschhoek and Stellenbosch.We extended our stay.

Thank you to Trevor and Ezna for an amazing stay! My sister and I visited here to end our first ever trip to Cape Town. Our stay was booked last minute and they were both so accommodating and welcoming.Our room was spacious, clean and lovely - overlooking grapevines and the beautiful mountains. The pool was also gorgeous and very relaxing.Trevor was incredibly kind and provided us with a variety of vineyard and restaurant recommendations, even offering to book anything we needed as Franschhoek in February can be very busy.The breakfast (all included) was also great quality and deliciously fresh. All in all this was a lovely experience and we will absolutely be back! My only regret was not having a car to get around and not staying longer!Thank you Trevor and Ezna (we’ll be back)!

We had a wonderful stay at Klein waterval. Such a peaceful spot and close enough to easily pop into town or for some wine tasting. The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. The pool area is a great spot to relax and read a book with an amazing view onto the mountains. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend a visit here. Only suggestion is maybe a little bottle of milk in the bar fridge for those that dont use cremora.

Excellent stay! What a beautiful small place. Perfect location between all the known wine estates. The service so incredible lovely!! amazing breakfast!!The rooms are very nice cleaning. Amazing view over the wine yards. We will definitely come back. If you search for a place where you feel like coming home - this is a must for you !!!

Thank you Klein Waterval for the amazing experience. Hands down probably the best overnight experience we have ever had. The staff and owner were most inviting professional yet so fun and accommodating.The resort is well kept clean and user friendly. Views are breathtaking and the pool/food is extremely inviting. Best of all and a complete first for myself there is a honesty bar. It blew my mind and you really get a sense of mutual respect .I would absolutely recommend Klein Waterval river resort.A absolute hidden gem.Don't ever change.Gary & Kim
