Aan De Vliet Holiday Resort

It's located on the main road going towards hazyview and in between a lot of places that have great activities for the kids. Check in was quick and simple. The pools were cleaned and well maintained. It's also a diverse and inclusive environment which is not common at resorts. There's a huge play area, trampolines, swings and a blow up slip and slide. The air conditioning was a lifesaver as you adjust to the humidity. Cleaners were also very accommodating and really friendly. We stayed in the round huts which had basic but clean facilities. It was so tranquil and walking around was safe even at night. They have strict noise rules (THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT). We were also notified in advance that the bar would be closed for renovations so no surprises when you arrive. Some of the store items were expensive and some were really well priced. There should be more bamboo dividers as it wasn't the most private when you're sitting by the fire. Restaurant/take away hours should be extended as you don't realise (with the sun setting late etc) how late it is before you know it's 7pm and orders are closed.

Family friendly no-frills place close to Kruger National Park.

What a wonderful place. Liberty was extremely helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to accommodate us at the last minute. We booked out of other accommodation due to false advertising so was beyond relieved to find a better priced place. The rooms are super clean, the beds superb and the grounds are beautiful and secure. After trying 4 other places in the area, we are beyond grateful to have found this gem! Thank you soso much!

Here for work for a week, wifi is limited to 200mb per user and then you have to buy vouchers... at the price per person/night one would expect a real bed base not a concrete slab and open wifi

Clean, well equipped bungalow. Our scenerary next to the Sabie river was the best. Sipping early morning coffee -watching the giant kingfishers - diving into the water to catch a fish is heaven on earth. Gardens are well maintained and wonderful to wander through. Lovely bedding and white, soft towels. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts and suppers tasted great. All and all a very inviting place!!!

Very clean, tranquility at its best.. We enjoyed our stay and the staff is so friendly

Bathroom was an absolute disaster! Shower drain was blocked and every minute the hot water went ice cold! Had to close the tap an reopen to get hot water again. Also, the air con was not working at all. Reception did respond to our complaint but after getting someone to clear out the shower drainage it still wasn't 100%. Other than this the place was really nice and would have given it 5 stars if the bathroom was up to standard. Really disappointed.

What a nice place to stay and very affordable

Currently staying here for three nights and i'm disappointed in the place. The reception was very friendly and made us feel at home and immediately got the sense of being in an African Lodge. However when we got to our room we noticed a bad damp smell in house. We have been running the AC (thought not even cold now) and used some spray to over come the smell. The barman keep on playing loud base music in the pub which very limited amount of people likes and it very unpleasant. Also does he watch TV on loudest setting in his language and really just not pleasant and relaxing to sit at bar. Was our second night at bar and did not enjoy it. Asked that music and any sound just be placed at level at least where you can talk easily. It disruptive for a resort and quiet evening.At the bar you can't open a tab and order drinks, but rather do you have to pay each time you order a drink. This is just not how you treat clients. You can add this to the the room and have the bill settled upon checkout. We booked a river side house and least to say, its not a river but rather a very very small stream of water.

I absolutely loved this places. It was so quiet at the river bungalow. You could here the water flowing. Its close to the Kruger Park. If you like a braai with a view its perfect with a beautiful sunset. The bungalow was cleaned every day. Kitchen is stocked sufficiently for self catering. I'm definitely going back there again.
