BERGEN'S APPLIANCES REPAIRS & SPARES

We collected our microwave oven from Bergen's after they had it for two weeks. Initially they couldn't find it and when they did, nothing had been done to the machine. We were then told there are no spares available for AEG microwaves and nothing could be done. Took it to another repairer (P & L Electronics) and had it back in perfect working condition within two days.

I wish I had read the previous reviews before considering using the Bergens Three Rivers branch. My repair was scheduled to take 2 weeks and ended up taking 1 month... What is worse, is that during the wait, I was lied to by the staff.

Engela & staff went out of their way to help my aged mother understand her new washing machine. Visiting her 3 times, at no cost, to explain how to use the automatic washing machine she bought from Bergens. Their kindness & patience goes well beyond the normal definition of after care service.

Never! Let me tell you what happened. My dishwasher was collected on Tuesday 15 Jan for a quote on repair work. After receiving the quote and word from the insurance that they will not pay I requested for my machine to be returned to me. I did ask if they want to buy my machine for spares where they said they will take it yes but they will not pay for it. I then said no please return it and paid the delivery fee. This happened on Wednesday. Come Saturday no delivery as yet. On Monday I called where the owner, Engela informed me that she made a mistake and instructed for my machine to be stripped. They are thus not able to return my machine. She wanted to provide me with another machine with the same problem to which I said no. I want a new machine from them as they destroyed my machine without permission. Engela now says she is waiting on her insurance to say whether they will pay or not. I do not care what her insurance decide, I want a new machine and that is it as they cannot return my old machine. They had no right to destroy my property. They are now taking forever to resolve this!Please be very very very careful when dealing with this company!

Contacted them to collect my fridge. They said they would collect at 9. Never heard from them again. I tried phoning again but no answer. Im rather going somewhere else

They collected my machine a week ago for repairs, Due to the cost of the qoute we decided not to have it repaired as we spent+- R3000 with Bergens 3 months ago for repairs of the same machineWe requested that they return the machine for which there will be a charge of R450We have been promised delivery for 3 days now I just received a phone callrequesting another sum of money for stripping the machine ..I have spent in excess in of R8000 in repairs with them this year but will surely not recommend them or use them ever again

Still waiting for my tumble dryer belt. Call them no answer or phone is off.

After 2 weeks, the oven is still not working and the cost was R1700

DO NOT USE THIS BRANCH!! If there was an option for 0 stars I would give it. This branch should be removed from the Bergen franchise. They are a MASSIVE rip off and a bunch of bulls#@t artists. You have been warned.
