The worst experience with the owner for my microlocs retire. The owner was very rude and I was left with my hair looking so bad, I sat there trying to fix my microlocks by myself. I wouldn't recommend, especially with the amount of money you pay, you expect a decent service.I was late with my retire and was willing to pay more (over 8 weeks) . Which she rudely explained to me. Luckily my hairdresser finished the retie process on time. I was even left with 15 more minutes, so I requested to be styled. My hairdresser was stopped immediately from attending to me, and she had to undo the style when I was half way through it even.

They are excellent in handling natural hair. The staff is very friendly.

Finding a place that treats my natural care as good as I do is very rare. Today was my first time @nubiancrown_hs and I can promise you it was definitely not my last. The stylist was so gentle on my hair and I also love that they educate you about your hair as they style it. Being in the hands of a stylist who understands and loves natural hair as I do made me feel at ease.. I definitely recommend this salon for all naturals and its also an awesome place to take your little girls too.. I am a super impressed client - thank you ladies for this wonderful experience

So disappointing. Went to get a detangle, wash and trim. And was greeted with confusion and incompetence. I was told my hair didn't need to be detangled and we'd give it a brush while conditioning and when it came to it there was no sectioning so it was not very detangled (shocker).When giving natural hair a trim it needs to be thoroughly detangled (which you'd expect professionals to know). Trim time and they run A FINE TOOTH COMB through my tangled hair. Right now I can still feel many single-strand knots and split ends in my hair. I can't imagine the damage.Perhaps it is my fault for not speaking out but I am a very anxious person and I really trusted these ladies to be professional. I could've and will in future do my trims at home. I really thought I'd be getting a professional cut but I am bitterly disappointed.

The ladies were super friendly and they knew what they were doing with my hair. 5/5 recommendation for girls with natural hair. They do deadlocks, braids, and wigs (I think). They are patient with little girls so you can definitely bring your kids here to get their hair done.

Finally found a place that can take care of my natural afro..so many times ive wanted to give up on my afro but after today i can safely say that I will never worry again. Best part is that the lady that did my hair was so gentle and it didn't hurt at all

I got my hair detangled, had a treatment and Benny and Betty hairstyle. Friendly staff especially my hairstylist Thembi D who took good care of my hair. Left the place a happy customer and will definitely go back!
