The Quarters Hotel

Charming hotel with lovely large rooms, pleasant staff and great food. I enjoyed my stay. Nice central location.

The service we received from the staff and General manager was extremely excellent. The property wasclean even my baby cot and linen was spotless. I will defintely come back.

Lovely period building with original features. Our room had a wrap around balcony and was very spacious. There was some road noise which could be bothersome however we didn’t ask to be moved since we slept very well in the comfortable bed. Close to many restaurants in Florida road.

Very nice Hotel. The staff real friendly and the quality of the services provided are according to the Hotel rating. Definitely I will stay in the same place in my next visit to Durban.

I am currently staying at Quarters Hotel while performing with the KZN Philharmonic. Their rooms are beautiful and clean, beds comfortable, showerhead very big (awesome!),great water pressure, amazing breakfast and wonderful service! I missed breakfast twice already, and they called me to check if I wanted anything, and brought the breakfast as room service. Really impressed with the hotel and genuinely feel cared for. Will be back for sure!

Staying in the Quarters is a truly fabulous experience. Each staff member at this comfortable and stately hotel was courteous, friendly and helpful, responding promptly to requests for assistance.I was particularly touched by the breakfast service from Nana and Boniswa. The food is of an excellent quality, beautifully prepared in the kitchen. Plus, the coffee was perfectly brewed. A healthy range of options on the menu makes travelling for business a whole lot more pleasurable. They made up a lovely breakfast take-away to have on the way to the airport as we had to leave early to catch a flight. That just made my day!Thanks to receptionist, Gillian, and Sarhana for assistance with admin requests. Also, delightful to have Nomphu organise a plumber within the hour in response to a problem with a tap in the shower.Security here is terrific, and having access to beautiful outside balconies an added delight. Great wifi is the cherry on the top!

Charming, comfortable hotel with just brilliant staff and incredible atmosphere. Breakfast in the solarium was delicious and again, I can't say enough about the staff. Without the people, hotels are just bricks and pillows, the staff here really goes out of their way to make you feel at home.

The rooms were clean and big. However, the windows had gaps and the walls were quite thin, so you will hear everything that is going on out- or inside. This accomodation had the most powerful toilet flush of all of South Africa. If any toilet on the premises is flushed you will hear it or even woken up by it.The breakfast was exceptionally good. You can select any item from their breakfast menu, including cappuccino, eggs Benedict with salmon, avocado toast etc.
