Bought a Cannon tank printer in Feb. It stopped working, returned it to Makro under warranty which they sent in for 20 working days for repairs" two weeks later after collection the printer has stopped working again. Honestly the worst printer I have ever purchased."

I live in Pretoria. I have a MG3540 printer. It is intermittently not picking up the paper into the feed. This is surely not a major problem. I cannot believe that to solve such a simple problem the only solution Canon South Africa can offer is that I take the printer to Sandton and that there is no service support for a canon printer in Pretoria.

Bought a Maxify MB2740 a year ago. If i printed a 100 pages it's a lot. Now the rollers in the printer is worn out apparently and the closest place to fix it is in Sandton (and i am in Centurion). Absolutely disgusting.

Pathetic aftersales service. Lady at helpdesk was rude and agitated with me. She did not know her product or software and eventually blamed my brand new Macbook Pro for the problem. Had to get a private IT consultant to fix the problem.

Unbelievable that no parts are carried in country. I have a pretty new printer that is now a paper weight because Canon SA have no maintenance cartridges in stock and will not have any for the next month.Way to go on a business product Canon. Rather deal with a brand that carries parts inventory for consumable items.
