Bothners N1 City Value Centre

Spent about 12 minutes here walking around . 6 guys behind the counter either chatting to each other or too busy to even notice a willing customer . Looks like you guys make too much business I'll be off to buy elsewhere . It's enough you never answer your emails or website messages either . Was interested in buying 2 X 18 inch Mackie active bass bins and 2 X 15 inch topsThis makes me feel better about my decision between these and JBL srx . Thanks for helping me decide guys

Firstly... I walked in after 5pm which I realize is close to closing time. But... I walked in and a few sales guys saw me. There were no customers in store at the time. I proceeded to the PA section and spotted what I needed.. A mic stand and some cabling. I looked around again and nobody in the store bothered to come and ask me if I needed help or if I wanted to buy something. I've been in the music business now for 25 years and spend money on gear every 2 to 3 months at the very least. Also spotted a Yamaha desk that's out of stock everywhere elsewhich I might e considered taking too. I really needed the stuff but decided to leave instead... I can not handle bad service ... Then again there was none to speak of. The guys at BC helped me straight away... As they always do!

All I can say is dealing with Jaco Goosen at this branch is an absolute pleasure. I used to shop at the Stellies branch just because he was there. Since he moved to N1 City I only go there. Jaco you are always on point, friendly, filled with good advice backed by solid experience. I wish everyone in retail was like Jaco. Look after him Bothners! SOLID!!

Great shopping experience with a wide range of interesting instruments and very friendly staff. Definitely the best music store I have ever been to!

So I'm from the Cape flats and I went out to get me a bass guitar. I saw one at Paul Bothners N1 City and man the Worse experience I got. +- 7 staff in the shop and I was the only one on the floor browsing and I finally got what I want and it was that beautiful B5 Cort bass for 10k. None of the staff came to ask if I need any help, they were just minding their own business and it was just me in the shop. I guess I'm taking my money somewhere else. I don't want to make it a race thing but I felt like I wasn't worthy in this shop! I wont even give one star but unfortunately I had to pick.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff; great service. Great place to have a chillor chat about gear, or if you're in a hurry, you can be in and out in 10 minutes. They VERY rarely do not have what I need.

What a great experience. Went there to purchase a new guitar. Had great help with choosing the right guitar. They went the extra mile to help me make the purchase online. Service was friendly and quick. And we had a lekker laugh just because.

Shop looks nice, usually at other Bothners I'm greeted and asked I they can help me, but not assistance was offered here.

When a salesman spends 3+ minutes on the phone to help you find a product that they do not stock just to refer you to the right company, this shows true dedication to customer service. With no benefit to this company they still solved my problem. Thanks Justin, appreciate your time and will absolutely support you and recommend you to my fellow muzos.
