Hi guys! If you are visiting Cape Town in summer- you must go to Clifton beach!!! Let me mesmerize your imagination lil bit :velvety white sand which is gently massage your feet...while you re taking a stride from 4th to 1st beach...It's incredible in Clifton: the scenery, the waves, the sun , yachts are sailing in front of you....Life is here and it is splendid!!!

Be prepared to climb down flights of stairs to get to the beach and those stairs await you when you’re ready to go. It’s totally worth the NARROW climb, the area is relatively safe and there’s constant patrols. Definitely a beautiful peaceful beach! Not wheelchair friendly or for those (especially the elderly) who need added assistance with staircases

A beach to experience the sand, the ocean and the sun, without masses of toursists. Take the stairs between the houses to the beach and enjoy! Nice and somewhat secluded

I enjoyed the beach. Great little getaway for a nice summer day and there are options to rent a sofa with an umbrella. Also a very gay-friendly beach and popular amongst the locals. More liberal and free-spirited, you may experience slight nudity by some beach-goers sometimes, so might want to take the kids to Clifton 4th. Great place regardless.
